Recently, we've released our newest Joomla! extension, RSSearch!, which searches content into Joomla! articles, sections, categories and 3rd party components.

Today, we're happy to announce new RSSearch! integrations with our blog component, RSBlog! and with 2 popular directory components, Sobi2 and Mosets Tree.

1. Find content in RSBlog! articles

Users will be able to find content in blog posts and categories too, if the RSSearch! - RSBlog! plugin has been previously configured.

Make sure the plugin is published in the "Plugin Manager" area and the RSSearch! module is enabled to find the RSBlog! content.

We’ve been working hard for some time to update all our extensions to Joomla! 1.6.

RSBlog! and RSTickets!Pro with Joomla! 1.6 support

Today, we move one step forward and we’re releasing 2 new extensions compatible with Joomla! 1.6, RSBlog! and RSTickets!Pro.

Besides updating to Joomla! 1.6, we've also decided to include several new frontend functionalities.

New RSBlog! features

• Starting with revision 4, the “Configuration” tab has 2 new avatar options:
  administrators can now show in frontend the author avatar from Gravatar, Community Builder, JomSocial, FireBoard or Kunena and set a link to the JomSocial or Community Builder profile as well .
  
  

Today we’ve released an exciting plugin addressed to all WordPress users that want to migrate their blog to Joomla!: RSBlog! WordPress Plugin. This plugin allows you to import the WordPress blog posts directly to RSBlog!

Step 1:

First, access your rsjoomla.com account and download the RSBlog! WordPress Plugin from Resources >> Customer Downloads >> RSBlog! membership >> Downloads >> Plugins >> “Import WordPress posts into RSBlog!”

The new RSBlog! revision comes with several hot new features which makes the social media experience a breeze: JomSocial plugin, Twitter and Facebook auto-publishing feature, several blog functionalities to enhance user experience, some code optimization to increase performance and much more.

1. Twitter and Facebook auto-publishing

We’ve designed 2 elegant Twitter and Facebook auto-publishing features that allows you to automatically update your Twitter status and Facebook wall without requiring further user information.

To enable the Twitter auto-publishing feature, in the Joomla! backend panel head to the "Configuration" tab >> Twitter and click on the "Setup Twitter automatically" button.

Only a week has passed since we’ve launched RSBlog! and the feedback received from you is really exciting.

Therefore, we’ve launched the second RSBlog! revision with hot new features: 3 plugins to import Joomla!, K2 and MyBlog articles to RSBlog!, Recent Posts Module, a new subscribing option for readers and many more.

1.Import articles from Joomla! content , K2 articles and MyBlog posts

We’ve released 3 new plugins to make the transition to RSBlog! a breeze: you can now easily import Joomla! content (including comments), K2 and MyBlog articles to RSBlog!

Just access your www.rsjoomla.com account, download the plugins from Resources>> Customer Downloads and install them using the default Joomla! installer. You can start the articles import in the “Import” tab, after enabling the plugins from the “Plugin Manager”.
