Our file manager component, RSFiles!, has been improved and updated in order to support the new Joomla! 4 version.
Joomla! 4.0 Compatibility
Although there is no stable version released yet, we are continuing the new Joomla! 4 compatibility streak and updated our RSFiles! component in order to support this new version of Joomla!.
Folders and Files caching
In order to speed up the files and folders listing, for websites with a large number of files, we have introduced the option of using cache.
When the "Use cache" option is enabled(from the component's General Settings), all the files will be cached for a better loading performance.
Improvements
Various miscellaneous adjustments we're done to RSFiles! component, like tidying up the source code and updating certain areas for a more consistent display to benefit both Joomla! 3 and Joomla! 4.
