In this release we've included 2 new placeholders that may really come in handy, read this post for more information.
From Name and From Email
You can now use, in both the User / Admin / Additional Emails' configuration and text, the {global:mailfrom} and {global:fromname} placeholders in order to return the From Email and From Name values as set up in System >> Global Configuration >> Server >> Mail Settings area:
