Ep. 77: How to generate event PDF tickets in RSEvents!

Starting with rev. 26, you can use the RSEvents! PDF plugin to send pdf tickets as attachments in the "Activation email".

Step 1: install the RSEvents! PDF plugin

  1. In the Joomla! backend panel, head to Extensions >> Install/Uninstall and install the plugin.

 

Step 2: Publish the RSEvents! PDF plugin

  1. Head to "Plugin Manager" area and make sure that the RSEvents! PDF plugin is published.

 

Step 3: Enable the PDF option

  1. In the Joomla! backend panel, head to Components >> RSEvents! and edit the event for which you want to enable the pdf functionality. You will notice a new added tab - Ticket layout, where you can enable/disable the pdf option.
  2. In the "Ticket layout" editor you can use the {barcode} placeholder to display inside the pdf file a ticket barcode.

Once the user registration is completed and the transaction is accepted, the user receives the pdf ticket attached to the "Activation Email".
