Ep. 82 - RSForm!Pro's Submissions Directory feature

Another feature brought by RSForm!Pro rev. 48 is Submissions Directory. It enables frontend users to edit and download their own submissions (and other users' submissions as well, if enough permissions are set).

Backend configuration tabs

Directory Info

In this tab you can set up submissions editing permissions per user groups. You can allow users to edit their own submissions, or all submissions. Also, here you can enable downloading submissions in CSV and PDF formats.

Directory Fields

Here you can set up whether the form's fields will be displayed in the listing and details or not, as well as whether they can be searched for, editable or exported to the CSV format.

Details Layout

This tab controlls the way in which the details layout is being displayed. Aside from 5 pre-defined layouts, the possibility to manually edit the layout is also being provided.

CSS and Javascript

Similar to the already well-known CSS and Javascript area associated with each form, this tab enables the users to fully customize the look and feel of their submissions directory through CSS and Javascript code.

Emails

Configure emails that will be sent when submissions are edited. Setting them up is done in a similar manner as the User/Admin/Additional Emails.

PHP Scripts

Add PHP scripts that will be called either on listing layout, details layout or before the Directory Emails are sent.

display all form Submissions Directory

It would be nice if you could display all the forms on the site on a single page, there's no option for all forms; should you create a directory page for each form?

The details layout can be adjusted via the default features.

Though there are no particular settings for the listing one, some style / layout related issues can be addressed via template overrides.

@fernandes

AS you can see, this feature is available since revision 48. Since you are using 42, it won't work on your installation.

PS: Note that you can renew your license with 30% discount.

The feature you are referring to is not available just yet on the demo area (we are preparing a new demo that will incorporate this as well). For the time being you can read more on it here:
