I have added the "Add an Event" page to a menu item. When I open the menu, my design gets stretched. I use the a default Joomla template called "Siteground".

I would like the forms to fit between 2 columns. Is this possible?

Are there any issues known why I can't select FormID in MenuItem?
Version com_rsform_pro1.2.0-for-joomla1.5.x.r22

Editing the MySQL table manually works fine, so maybe it's just a mini-bug.

Have you "Show RStickets menu" active in the general configuration?

Do the Staff Member have rights to submit tickets / see other tickets?

Does it work when you create a new menu-item in joomla for tickets ( for example -> backend -> menues -> mainmenue -> new -> RSTickets! -> Tickets)

When I logged in as Admin i have all rights without beeing a member of a staff group.

Excuse my bad english. But I hope you know what I mean ;)

Is it possible to send email to a different address according to a selected item from drop down menu. So that users could contact the closest office to them.

Make sure your from is published. Once you are happy with the form layout - click preview. The URL that is displayed is the URL for the form. Insert a html link into any article - and paste the url for your form.

Easy one...

Duh, that was a NOOB question.

Here's the answer (for those as new at this as me):

Make a module, put the info you want in the module, publish it to the menu item and Voila! Done.

(just don't call me a noob anymore) ;)

Hi Thomas,

By any chance to you know if I don't have users registered if it will work ok? Right now, I have my order form setup from a menu item. The users are not required to register first. Also, do you know how the \"select\" drag and drop works? I have a windows PC so not sure if I use left mouse button to highlight (select) and ALT+Click to drag?

Thanks for any help! :)

Hello, I'm currently testing RSFORM Pro with a great success for a online order form. The from is 100+ fields for 10 items. Basically, customer enters part number, price, amount and the form calculates total with shipping and my interest. But in current setup they can't check order status online or leave comments - only thru email. If I use RSTickets concept - it's perfect!

Is it possible or will it be possible in near future to edit ticket form to include drop down menus, field validation...

I'm a newbie too, However, everything works...

View the Sample form that came with your install..

Email solution: If you place a \"Valid\" email in both the User Email, and Admin Email.. an email will be sent.

Also, the \"user\" on your site should be \"registered\" in order for the fields to be populated with THAT users information..

Also, check that USER's settings to ensure that \"Send System Emails\" in enabled...otherwise an email will not be...

I created a form (man was that easy)
I competed the \"User Email\" and \"Admin Email\" tabs.
I added the form to a menu

It looks great.

See it at: pokerplayersinternational.com/index.php?...d=2&Itemid=99999

I fill in the form fields and i click the \"submit\" button ... but nothing happens.

I feel dumb asking the question - but what...

Hi Thomas,
I have gotten this method to work multilingually, but it's tricky.
I use JoomFish 2 on Joomla 1.5.8, and it has a bug that won't allow translating URLs in External Links (menu items).

First fix that - see:
http://www.joomfish.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2388&p=11140&hilit=different+external+url#p11140

You can also get around that using Firefox's Firebug addon.

Now you can translate your menu item into any languages. So for example, I had an External Link type menu...

I have a simple form setup for users to request an item. If the user selection an option from a dropdown menu, I want them to have a link displayed on the Thank You Message page. Is this a way to do this on the Thank You Message page, or just another way to do this?

Thanks in advance.
