Hello,

To link your form through a menu item you will have to go to Menus > Main Menu* and add a new menu item by clicking New > RSform!Pro. Please remember to enter the formId in the "Parameters Basic". You can see your form's ids by going to Components > RSform!Pro > Manage forms.

Hello,

I am not quite sure what do you mean by "create a calendar". RSEvents! has be default two types of calendars:

- a view type: site.com/index.php?option=com_rsevents&view=calendar

- a module type that displays a small calendar inside a module position.

Basically the calendar displays a list of the events. On this view you can set some display filters, based on location category and date. These parameters can be configured directly from the menu item parameters.

In the Category List page the sort oder is either alphabetical or reverse alphabetical as defined in the menu item parameter. It would be good to have an option of respecting the sort order of categories as defined in Jommla by admin.

Short of prefixing every category with a number, is there a quick way of achieving this ?

I display a menu item that takes visitors to a list of categories with descriptions. From there they can click on one of the descriptions to see a list of events.

The events are listed as a table with the folowing values:

Date
Event Title
Event Location
Event Categories

Many of my events have multiple categories but I'd rather they didn't appear in the table as they dominate the available space.

Which file do I go to to remove the categories from being shown in this display ?

Hi

Im working on a new website using RSforms and at the moment developing it locally on our internal server. I am however also pushing the files onto an external server so our client can view them. Im finding a lot when doing this that when trying to view rsfiles from the front end that i am getting errors saying:
This webpage has a redirect loop.

The webpage at xxxxx.com/index.php?option=com_rsfiles&view=files&Itemid=86 has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for...

I have 10 items identified in a PayPal dropdown window. However, the form displays all 10 items in one large, 10 line dropdown window rather than having the first item identified with a dropdown arrow, like one would expect. How can I correct this?

Also, say I wanted these 10 items to be displayed on its on separate lines with a checkbox by each item. Is there a way to do that? Right now, the form runs all the items with their checkboxes together as one long string.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

In order to add an event in RSEvents! you can go to Menus > select a menu of your choice > create a new menu item by going to RSEvents! > Addeditevent . Now when accessing the respective menu item from the front-end your users will be able to add events.

Hello,

Unfortunately we do not offer customizations but i might be able to point you in the right direction.

RSEvents already incorporates a Future events menu item, thus it would be best to modify the file that generates this: components/com_rsevents/views/events/tmpl/featureevents.php

Basically you will need to insert some day breaks after you have listed all the events from a day.

change the url of the form

from
index.php?option=com_rsform&formId=3&Itemid=99999

to
index2.php?option=com_rsform&formId=3&Itemid=99999

difference:

add a 2 after index to strip out the template and dont forget to change th form ID.

Hello,

Unfortunately you can only unsubscribe by clicking the link in the received emails. The unsubscribe menu item does not have a functionality at the moment and it will be removed in our next revision.

Hello,

RSSeo! was initially free of charge... but you could only set meta data to menu items. On the request of our users we have extended the functionality to what it is today ( a complete seo tool). The component is indeed commercial, as advertised on the JED. We offer a demo installation so you can get a look and feel of the component.

I am sorry you feel this way.

By custom searches as a link, I mean to have a menu item that someone can click on and automatically pops up the results of the custom search. Something predefined by the admin and captured in a hyperlink. Not a user saved feature.

Thanks.

I have a system that will probably do what you need. I use it for conference delegates who wish to submit a paper for discussion. I made 2 linked forms.

Form 1 collects the delegates surname and email address and checks that the delegate has...
