Hi All,

I have set a menu item to show entries from particular category(s) i am doing this by setting the menu item type to RSDirectory List Entries.

My Question:

Is there a quick/proper way to select all the sub-categories of the category selected in the menu layout?

I have 3 main categories each with several hundred sub categories, and i want to display all the sub category entries on my page based on the category i have selected. The only way i can see me being able to achieve this is to...

Thank you all for the above. I have very limited experience with coding and I am trying to achieve a slight modification of the above.

Could anyone please help me out with some sample code that would allow me to auto populate a drop down menu with a list of the site's registered users. Ideally I want the display to be the "full name" and the value to be the "email".

E.g. If my registered users were, Harry, Bruce and Clark. The form would display the following in the dropdown menu:

Please...

Hello,
I have the same problem. I added a form to the backend menu, and I don't see "Remove from backend menu" the form still shows under the Components menu in the backend. Under tools I see preview, add to menu, add to back end menu and clear submissions.
I'm using Joomla 3.4.1.
Any tips on how to remove the form from the backend?

Hi, I followed the instructions as follows:

You'll be presented with the Create a New Override layout. First, select Value in the Search for field. Then, type in Download selected as CSV in the Search field and start the search. A single result should be returned, RSFP_SUBM_DIR_DOWNLOAD_CSV - Download selected as CSV, click it. You will notice that the placeholder and its associated string will be automatically added in the Language Constant and Text fields to the left. Simply switch Download...

Right now on the iphone versio of the rsjuno template it says 'navigation' I'd just like to change that to 'menu'.

The proper workflow to achieve this (using eg. the default RSEvents User Group) is to turn "Users in this group can edit events" to OFF, if set to yes, they can edit ALL events. Then, create a menu item for the Group with the 'List Type' in the Options tab set to 'User Events'. In that setup, the listing is editable (seems to over-ride the Group setting but you won't find that one in the docs). As far as editing their own images, there's a setting within the JCE Editor to restrict user file and pic uploads to a folder based on their username.

That's because the menu module is in a span8 class and the copyright module in the span4 class. The first one has a smaller space for its width while the second one takes too much space :)

There's no CSS workaround here, the only way to do this would be to edit the spans from the positions.
  • Open templates/rsjuno/positions/after-footer.php
  • Change span8 to span9
  • Change span4 to span3

Hopefully your menu will fit correctly now. Make a note of your changes - this file will unfortunately get...

One last thing? :.) I'd like for the menu at the bottom to not be on two lines and tried several things to accomplish this but couldn't get it to work.
