RSSeo! was initially free of charge... but you could only set meta data to menu items. On the request of our users we have extended the functionality to what it is today ( a complete seo tool). The component is indeed commercial, as advertised on the JED. We offer a demo installation so you can get a look and feel of the component.

By custom searches as a link, I mean to have a menu item that someone can click on and automatically pops up the results of the custom search. Something predefined by the admin and captured in a hyperlink. Not a user saved feature.

Please note that since revision 10 you can add a future events menu item. You can set the item parameters to display events that will occur x days from the current date, thus being able to replicate the "today" and "tomorrow" listings.

Hi I am using a joomlaxtc template with jomsocial and RSEvents. I have created a menu for the events and everything works fine except Add an Event. When I select this the page loads but it uses a different joomlaxtc setting.

I have set my template to use a specific color scheme and header and background. Add an Event uses a different background and header. Any ideas why RSEvents would cause this to happen please?

When a customer clicks on the menu to subscribe. The dollar amount shows the country symbol behind the unit price (Price: 5 USD). What do I need to edit to put the price symbol in front of the unit price (Price: $5)?

I split mine into 5 forms.

Each is on a page.

I assigned a menu entry to each of the 5 forms (basic info then 4 detailed screens).

I made a menu that only appears on the page where the forms are completed. That menu contains a menu entry for each of the 5 forms. So they only complete the ones that apply.

Every time they complete a form, they go back to that page and the menu is always there for them to complete any of the other forms they want, or they can use the main menu to go elsewhere once they are finished.

To determine if this is generated by RSFirewall just go to Extensions > Plugin Manager and disable the RSFirewall System plugin.

I had the same issue. To resolve this, simply set the Item ID in the module's parameters (Extensions > Module Manager > Upcoming module > ItemId) to the desired Menu Item Id (Menus > Main Menu > ItemId) that you want the module to open under.

I submitted a ticket about this issue. Apparently there is no easy way to customise the chosen (Javascript?) calender nor to transfer parameters to it. They suggested to me, that I implement 3 pulldown menus instead: One for year, one for month and one for day and that is what I am going to do for my site although it does not look so fancy. I might implement some date-restrictions too since the manual tells you how to implement constraints.

But I think the developers are aware of this feature wish.

Is it possible to toggle "required" on/off with javascript etc.?

I would like to change required off when user does a selection from drop down menu element.

I am creating an online ordering menu where a user can hop on fill out their info, and what they want and then it will send the results in an email. Only thing I need to add now is something for quantity, I'm not sure what the best way to do this is.

one idea I have is to add what is checked off into a text box with a 0 beside it each time something is checked off. I'm not sure how to do this?

another is maybe add each entry to a table, what they checked on one part and a blank quantity...
