I have a page here: conracsolutions.com/media-sol/case-studies/

It is a "RSFiles! >> List Files" menu item.

All works ok, but when I click on any of the listed files, it goes to a page that has no template... kind of like what a modal would do... only, it isn't a modal. I'd like it to either (1) just open a modal and go from there, or (2) not be a modal and have the form page that comes up just be a normal site page w/ a template.

I don't see any settings for disabling modals, and...

Hi,
I try to use the menu item: RSForm Pro! Submissions directory, but in the tab “Options” there is no possibility to select the form in the dropdown liste.
I try with another website and it’s the same!
When I select the menu item in the front there is the message “500 - Form #0 does not exist!”
What’s wrong?
Thanks!
Philippe

Hello

I was wondering if there is any way to apply custom PHP and Javascript to the "Submissions View" menu item you can create.

I would love to edit this form and add custom filters such as only showing the submissions where a field has the value "Pending" and so forth.

Any help/tips in the right direction would be appreciated.

I would like to be able to set a limit on the total number of events to be shown in the Events List component of the Menu item selection. Currently, the options allow for certain time limiting but not the total number to show. I don't want a long list to scroll down on my page and the Upcoming Events Module is not capable of showing the event information I need shown, so I'm forced to use the Component as a Menu item. If it is possible to format the Upcoming Events Module to display the same...

I figured out a solution to my problem!

Step 1 - I changed the 'libraries/src/Router/SiteRouter.php' file with the one from Joomla 3.8.3

This fixed new submission's View & Edit buttons but not the submissions made before I changed the SiteRouter.php file.
So I did the following:

Step 2 - Make a Backup of the form & the form submissions

Step 3 - Restore the form & the form submissions
  • Overwrite existing forms? Set to "No"
  • Keep IDs from backup? Set to "No"

Step 4 - Changed the menu item...

After a the latest Joomla upgrade we upgraded RSForms Pro today.

Without touching anything else, we now get the message, "Error: You are not authorized to view this page. Did you forget to set 'Enable Viewing Submissions ?' to 'Yes' from this menu item's properties?" when our users click the PDF link to the forms submitted in our job board powered by RSForms pro. Everything worked until the upgrades. I do have a backup but would like to avoid that since we're not getting to the heart of the matter.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have been experimenting with displaying submissions in the front end.

I am experimenting today to see if I can recreate a knowledgebase using only RSForm. I don't know at this stage if this is possible and whether I should just drop this idea and find a suitable component. If I can't do it I will forget it.

What I'm trying to achieve is Users will be able to submit questions and select a category their question relates too.

In the frontend when a new user comes to the knowledgebase I...

Hi
Please close topic.
The solution was to scroll down within the items menu in the editing screen.

I need to put a simple jumpmenu inside a form that redirect de sender after him choose some item like: I'm a Doctor (so go to) Doctor page (after submission).

The principal idea is to collect some data like: birthday, city, phone and occupation, but the field occupation will redirect the user (sender) to a linked page after submit the form.

How can I get this with RSForm Pro?

Hello,

I've build a site with the RSVario! template and the RSPageBuilder! The site works great and I really enjoy using your templates and extensions. Though I can't seem to find out how to make the parent menu active when you're on a child page. How would I achieve this?

Greetings,

Nick.

Hello,

There are two approaches that will make the "Read more" link properly display:

1. "Truncate Blog Posts" option: in the RSBlog! Configuration section (accessed through the "Option" button, upper-right corner), in the "Basic" tab scroll down to "Blog Options" and fill in the "Truncate Blog Posts" with the number of characters that will be automatically displayed before the "Read More" link.
2. - Leave the "Truncate Blog Posts" field empty;
- RSBlog! Configuration > Frontend > Post Options...

You could try this component:

www.pages-and-items.com/extensions/redirect-on-login

I use it all the time. User, when logging into the front end, is sent to a hidden menu that takes them to RSFiles. In RSFiles I set up profiles that only show the logged in user their own folder.

Managers see all folders.

Good luck!

Hello Dragos (again :P ),

Thanks again for your wonderful help. This solved the issue. How do I make the menu close after a menu-item is clicked? I'm guessing this has to be done via jquery?

Kind regards,

Nick.

Hello,

I would like the mobile menu on the RSVario template to stay sticky on top. How would I achieve this?
My mobile menu also doesn't have the same style as you see on the live demo (I've already updated to the last version). The menu items appear horizontally instead of vertically. Help is much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nick.

PS: The website I'm talking about is www.new.handieman.nl
