Interesting topic.

This solution worked great, but is there a way to apply something similar to the Event Menu page?

To explain more clearly, I have my home page set to Events in the menu so all my events are listed on the home page. If an event is clicked, that event displays on the home page along with all the home page modules.

I would like if the user was directed to another page with different modules other then my home page when they click an event.
I do not want a new tab opened, I...

When setting up a form there is a link that allows you to add a menu item in the backend. I just cant see how to remove it.
It doesnt look like you hard code the link into the administrator/mod_menu area...

thanks

Hi I tried to create two calendars for events and placed in two different templates.
Only that clicking on any event kicks as the default style template.
I have created a menu with two lists of events defining the template ..... but it does not work.
HELP

Thanks Luigi

Is this syntax still valid for Pro - it doesnt seem to work for me.

OOPS was clicking save in the Joomla instead of Update in the compoennt field itself so was not saving this.

To change the color of the text in you drop-down menus, you will need to add some custom CSS code in the 'CSS and Javascript' tab found in Components >> RSForm!Pro >> Manage Forms >> edit your form >> Properties. Assuming that the id of your dropdown is 'Dropdown', the code should look something like:

<style>
#Dropdown
{
color:blue;
}
</style>

Are you referring to adding an RSComments! commenting form and a comments counter for RSForm!Pro's 'Submissions View' menu item? If this is the case, please refer to the following article:

Unfortunately, RSSearch! does not integrate with either RSForm! or RSForm!Pro. To search among RSForm!Pro's submissions in the frontend, you can use the 'View Submissions' menu item, it offers a basic search functionality. You can read more on this topic here:

Hi silviup,
Thank you for your reply.

I do have multiply languages on the website.
Would you be so kind to be a bit more specific regarding this?
I have a feeling that is the problem indeed.

How exactly do I translate a field?
Yes, I have seen the dropdown language menu, but it somehow only seems to work for "Properties" options.
With the "Components" I have added fields that appear for both languages*.

*the website has 2 languages!

I have tested the Swedish language pack for RSForm!Pro and have noticed that, in the \administrator\language\sv-SE\sv-SE.com_rsform.sys.ini at line 500, there is a mistyped placeholder. Please replace

LINK TO MENU

with

LINK_TO_MENU

The same placeholder can be found in the \administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_rsform.ini file at line 545, please check it and perform the same operation described above, if necessary.

Note that all other language packs, except the default English pack, are actually donated by our users and may be faulty or incomplete.

So we crawl 5 levels of site pages...then proceed to make extensive changes each page via RSSeo to optimize Title Tags, Description Tags, etc.

When we re-crawl the pages again to update them, we lose all those changes we have made over the past months? The instructions provided tell HOW to do things, but also needed are the WHYs or WHY NOT as to best practices for using the component.

What is the difference between "refreshing" a page and having it refreshed by doing a total re-crawl? Also,...

I have an RSForm on a menu item and set the access to "Registered" so that only logged in users could access the form -- AND IT DOESN'T WORK. In Joomla 3.0.

Your answer makes NO SENSE: "Why would you want to show a empty link to public visitors?
This is not good for Google."

People have forms they only want logged in users to fill out!!! THAT'S WHY.

This is a huge deficiency in RSForm. I have been a big fan of RSForm for many, many years, and am very disappointed that this has never been addressed.

There is no default feature for this. You can use the country list provided in the following forum post:

Hi,
I need to do the same thing.
But I'm using Rev 19.
Is there something else to consider?

How about to make an option in the configuration menu of RSMail which says: Make newletter history public.

Thanks for your great tool - Keep up the good work
