Hi,

I've searched the user manual and this forum and can't seem to find any information on this.

I've purchased and installed it on my client's site. The sequence is to be this:

1. User clicks on graphic to go to a page to get information on the membership benefits.
2. User clicks on a Join Now graphic to join.

This is where I have the problem. I've set up a menu item straight to the simple subscribe register link. I've placed this menu item on a menu that is not published, but the link is...

Hey Mark,

There are two methods I can think of to remove the guest menu

Method 1 - Edit default design file
Step 1 - Open default.html in /components/com_rsevents/designs/default/ folder.
Step 2 - Remove {EventGuestMenu} in the default.html file and save
This method is quick, but requires you to reapply the hack every time you upgrade)

Method 2 - Create new modified design
Step 1 - Copy the default folder in /components/com_rsevents/designs/ and name your new folder "Design1" (of course,...

My friend is running rs events on his site and i have had a play with it and cant seem to get rid of the "Guest Menu" unfortuantly this messes up the layout on the iphone app and mobile devices.

I can do this and get it working then i will be buying a few of rs components including RSEvents as this is a great component.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Mark

The ability to use RSMembership groups to determine access to modules and other components would be a great enhancement.

I know you can set shared content by URL, but that's limited in scope (and doesn't include a fluid way to retrieve the URLs you want to restrict). If you're using K2, for example, there's no elegant way for RSMembership to effectively restrict entire categories and individual items within those categories without listing every URL.

Also, a plugin to dynamically restrict...

Hello,

Please make sure that you have made the correct selections in the "Menu Assignment" section of your module configuration. Please try selecting "All" for the "Menus" option, save your changes and try viewing the page again.

Hello,

You can create a tabbed in RSTickets! Pro by using the menu items that the component permits you to create.

If you set up a menu option to point at the users memberships, then it will (somewhat predictably) show a list of memberships that the user is subscribed to. The user then has to click on the membership to show the files that are exposed by that membership.

This code change will only show the list of memberships if the user is subscribed to more than one. Otherwise, it just forwards the user straight on to the membership detail page, where shared folders are listed.

This works with...

Hello,

If you are using MSExcel then please try this:

Go to Menu > Data > Import External Data > Import Data, browse the CSV file and set up the Character Set for the imported file to "Unicode (UTF-8)" from the wizard that appears.

If you are using Open Office then, when opening the CSV file, please try setting the Character Set to "Unicode (UTF-8)" from the window that appears.

Hello,

You can add a Membership List menu item on your site from your which your users will be able to access all of your memberships.

Users in RSMembership! can purchase multiple memberships so, when they wish, they can subscribe to the membership of their choice from the list and, so, they will have access to the corresponding sections on your site which you have set in the Shared Content section of your memberships.

Hello,

Please note that if you do not want the subscribe module to be shown on your homepage you can try going to Extensions > Module Manager > RSMail Newsletter and edit the "Menu Assignment" fields. Set the "Menus" option to "Select Menu Item(s) from the List" and remove the "Home" item from the "Menu Selection" option.

Please go to www.zanalysts.com and click on Quote Request (Services Offered menu).

Here's a simple form with a mangled submit button. What happened and how can I fix it?

Hello,

Unfortunately those items can't be translated easily since these are submenus and reside as entries inside the Joomla _components table.
