Have you tried selecting the Calendar Layout from the Menu Creator? (From the backend, Menus -> <menu name>, click New Button then under "Select Menu Item Type", select RSEvents -> Calendar -> Calendar Layout.
Fill out the form, save, and then view the calendar from the menu (on front).

You turn off the search box in the menu item.

Go to the menu item that links to the blog. On the right side under "Basic Options", change "Enable Search" to "No". I have no idea why they stuck it in there and not in the configuration tab, but they did.

I still have not figured out the annoying date issue.

Note to RSJoomla! You might want to add this to your documentation before someone else time trying to figure it out.

When creating a Calendar Layout Menu item, make sure "Show user events" is set to NO. Otherwise, the only events that will be displayed on your calendar will be those events you entered yourself.

My company has purchased RSEvents. We run a forum site and are trying to implement a calendar of events. Inside RSEvents, I have set up a group for our forum mods (who's User permissions are Public Backend -> Manager). I am giving them the ability to add and modify events. The problem is that they/we can only see the events we enter, not events entered by others. I am a super administrator and I can't even see their events on the calendar. If I click on the day of the week in the calendar...

After searching everywhere, I realize this is beyond most components that are currently offered.

There are two application generators that I see for Joomla: Fabrik and Logos Form Manager. These two apps allow you to interact with and edit tables within Joomla pages.

Of course, it is possible to use other tools but they would not integrate with Joomla's userbase or menu/page structure (examples: www.hkvstore.com/phpmaker www.dbqwiksite.com www.bigprof.com/appgini ). Until now it appears you...

I have experience a problem with RSFiles when trying to secure files.

1) 404 "Component Not Found" - I receive a 404 error when I try to view the RSFiles homepage on my site. The page is set to Registered in the menu system and the individual folder were set to Public/Everyone for viewing and downloading.

==>Any idea how to fix this?

2) File Search Not Secure - When I set the RSFiles homepage to "Public" in the Joomla menu, turn on the front end search option in RSFiles and set all...

I'm trying to get the value from a menu and, based on the menu selection, it will show or hide certain divs/objects. I know there is an example of how to do it with a radio list but how do I do the SAME THING but with a menu?

First of all, we purchased our license under This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it but I don't really check that account, much.

The issue:

The drop-down menu lets the user tell us what type of loan, etc. they are interested in.
There are basically four different types of loans that we do.
Depending on which loan they select, the form will be different for that loan.
We want to put the form on the right (user2i) module position on our website and we will want to style it, obviously, with XHTML/CSS....

One of the few things I did like about several of the other Download/File components was the ability to select and change current files for downloads.

Here is an example of what I think would help us out as well as several other people for file version that do not want to have a multitude of file versions in their download section on the front end (or have to create new entries).

This would
1) Speed up development for those that often update files
2) Help keep the entries in the back end a...

Hello-

Is there a way to show a dynamic list of all the forms published to the front end? The component menu item for RSForms allows to display one form at a time, I want to list all the forms currently created.
