Thank you for replying

I have a menu option for form submission view but I cannot get it to populate.
Essentially what I need to happen is that once a person registers and then log-in that the information that was supplied during the registration process is now visible to them.

I set up the menu option for submission view and styled the html, however I can only get the output to show if I set the ID to "0" which shows all of the submissions. However in this situation I need it to only show for...

I have searched the forum for an answer but none of the recommended solutions fixes my problem. With my RSBog open in the front end I use the RSFeed button in my Firefox toolbar to discover the RSS feed. It looks like this:
www.fancrest.com/index.php/dis-wine-blog-mainmenu?format=feed
When I try to put this in the feedburner or if I simply put in the URL of my RSBlog this is the error messgae I get:
"The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following...

Hi -- does anybody know how to hide this form from a single page? No matter what I try, where I try, this confounded form cannot be removed from one of my single pages. I did not set up the initial configuration, but I have tried all the obvious methods. See below...

Is there any Frontpage-like feature in RSBlog?

I'd like to publish the blog listing on the Blog menu item, but keep a frontpage in Home menu item with the most recent posts ans its intros, like native Joomla articles.

This is a really powerful component but it needs to be said that it's styling is simply the pits ...

The category list menu for example has unique ID wrapper ID ??? Thus there is no way to style this menu without hacking the source files. Go ahead, try and CSS the category listing titles or the search button! Geez, this is basic too ...

I wrote to support directly about this. I really hope RsJoomla bring this component up to par with their regular standards. I get the feeling this is a...

Here is a corrected version of the FR language file for RsEvents.

The problem was that the file they (RsJoomla) has in the repository is not properly formatted ...I haven't tested this all the way yet but it looks like it works.

I am sorry. I have been searching, but I can only read so much on this time frame I have...

I am trying to figure out how to give the user the ability to either select, or enter the time that they arrive, and the time they leave a certain location.

How would you do this?

The other question is: I am not sure how to get the form to fit, or look proper on the page. I have used joomla for about a year now, so I am aware modules, positions etc., but its things like in the form, getting some...

I am using RS Blog and have categorised my blogs.
I now wish to create two separate menu items each with a different category of blogs. I have tried to set this up but get all the blogs on both pages.
Is RSBlog capable of doing what I ask?

Check the Login Module settings (mod_login). I would imagine that has to be set to public regardless. Also, set the login and logout re-direction page. There is a select drop-down box for each that allows you to choose a menu item. Set that to your Home item.
I will look around some more on my site to see if there is anything else and get back to you.

BTW, my site is J! 1.5.23. What is yours?

Thanks,
KP

That sounds like a problem with your Joomla not re-directing to a login prompt for Registered or Special permission pages.

I didn't know that was possible. Whenever a guest goes to a page that has Registered permission they get an ugly error page. I would love to have it go to a login screen instead. If that is possible, do you know how to set it up?

Thanks for sharing your screen shots. The difference I see is that if I make the Home menu item Public, then the event calendar is visible and...

Thanks in advance

That sounds like a problem with your Joomla not re-directing to a login prompt for Registered or Special permission pages. It would REALLY be a good time for someone from RSJoomla to chime in here. Anyway, I'm not sure if this is going to help, but here are two screen shots of my menu setup for Kunena as my default front. Perhaps you can find something here in comparing these pics with your setup:

This is what I have gotten as an answer so far:
"This is rather normal, mainly because the differences between menu items and modules. In a menu item the alias is being used. The module listing can only use the standard direct links to the article pages.", which for the life of me does not make any sense at all.

We're using Schlu's Eventlist on another site, and the links form their module are generated and pointing to the right SEO URL.

These are the steps I followed to create the new Thank You page in Joomla and point the RSFORM PRO form to it:

Step 1 – Create article page in Joomla with thank you content

Step 2 – Put page in Hidden Menu, click “Apply” (this updates the URL). Copy link URL. It will look something like this:

/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=40

Click “Save” to save the change to the Hidden Menu.

Step 3 – in RSForm PRO, under Edit Form, select NO for “Show Thank You Message”...
