I need to fetch the email adress I use as value in a radio button or dropdown menu.

In my forms, I want the user to select what Issue the email is about, i.e. support, purchasing/sales inquiry and have them sent the email to the correct emailadress.

I tried to have the to adress field in user email as (supportorsalefieldname:value) to retrive the email adress, but that didnt work.

How do I do that ??

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction when it comes to configuring the search menu. Currently the event search menu contains Categories, Locations, end date, start date, and Keywords. My questions is how do I change that to include other search parameters?

Toby, I have two fairly simple questions, maybe you could answer.

1) I want the events to sort from soonest to furthest, it seems the default is furthest to soonest. I can't seem to find any way to configure that ?

2) Any way to make a field span both columns in a two column design.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you might be able to provide.

I discovered that the sort order is set in the menu parameters.

Still no luck on the spanning.

After installing RSForm! Pro V1.4.x under Joomla 2.5.2 there appears an error message:
"Another menu-item in the same main-menu uses this alias.
Error while building admin-menu's"
However, I also get the message that the component is succesfully installed. But under Components RSForm is nowhere to be found, so I can't build form.
After this install trial under Menu -> New -> Select menu-item it is possible to select RSForm (Form or view submission), and that's it.
Problem is I can't find that alias.
Anyone any idea

Thanks

Hello everybody.
I would like to create an interactive multi page form.
This will include selections from drop down menus as well as calculations and results from a db.
To get an idea of what I want to do, please take a look here :

I've used the KC QuickIcons extension for this:

www.keashly.net/administration/kc-admin-quickicons

I am using Joomla! 2.5 and was able to use the ACL to only show the reporting icons and menu items to our customer support reps that have to use the administrator backend to manage the reports.

Unfortunately, I had to hack RSFP to put ACL checks in for each of the the views. I didn't want the CSR's to have access to building the forms, backup/restore, plugins, etc. I hope RS Joomla! build that into the next release.

I have a form with a dropdownmenu where you must select a number. The submissions of the form are shown in the frontend module.
Now I want to calculate the total of the given numbers of the dropdownmenu and show it as a total in the frontend module.
This way we dont have to calculate the total of the given numbers by hand.

There are some examples of how to do this in the form, but not in the frontend list module.

Please, can anyone advice?

Hello,

I have a problem with RS-SEO component.

The site title of my startpage (only of my start page) displays "500 Internal Site Error", but only if I add a "www." to my domain. If I write my domain without "www." all works fine and the page title is shown correctly.

I tried to make a change with RS-Seo component in menu "pages" but after clicking on "save" it reverts back to "500 Internal Server Error" and i'm not able to add any description to my main page.

Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello,

What SEF method are you using and which Joomla! version?

I use Joomla! 2.5.1 with multi language (De,Es,EN,NL) and the Joomla! SEF with mod_rewrite (htaccess) and i don't have any problems.

When I create an RsForm Pro menu item at the top level of a menu, the SEF URL works fine. Example:

www.somesite.com/en/apply

When I make that menu item a sub-item of a parent menu item, the SEF URL doesn't work. I get a 404 error.
Example;

www.somesite.com/en/about-us/apply

Seems to me it has to do with multi-language SEF issues.

For now I solved this problem by creating an Apply menu item in a menu I called "hidden" and then I created a menu alias with About Us as the...

Aha! Thanks! However, I added it, and nothing shows. (I double-checked that the group my user belongs to is in the editor group on rsevents - not sure what else to look at)

After looking, it says I need to install the hostmenu module, but I can't find that anywhere. It does not appear in the downloads section for me.

Ok. The module is there (must have been added when the component installed?). However, I still don't see anything, anywhere. The module says the position is none - should that...
