I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction when it comes to configuring the search menu. Currently the event search menu contains Categories, Locations, end date, start date, and Keywords. My questions is how do I change that to include other search parameters?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Hello,

In order to achieve this you will need to edit the search module's source code. This is not recommended since all source code changes will be lost when an update is performed.
