I agree, the way you handle recurring events is not correct. You should be able to put in no end time. For example, churches have Sunday meetings indefinitely, as do many other organizations. Presently, you create all events to the end time. This is not how better coded calendars do recurring events. They will only create events out for awhile for a total of x number of events. As events become past, new future events are created. Currently, if we put out events for 6 months, we have to come...

Hi!

I need some help of an experienced RS Form pro user.

I need to set a date 24 hours in advamce as a minimum.

I started with a code suggested in another post but no effect at all.

This is the suggested code:

In order to achieve this please try setting the minimum date of your calendar field to "01/18/2011" and the "Date format" to "dd.mm.yyyy". After you have done this please go to the "Scripts" tab and add the following script in the "Scripts called on form display" field:

$Sdate =...

I've have been bugging support all morning about different changes I needed to do and I appreciate their help. but this particular question I needed to ask, I'm sure other people will find useful.

The problem I'm having is most of my events cross over into a new day. For instance the event starts at 9pm then ends the next day at 2am. So it shows up twice on the calendar and event lists.

This is somewhat confusing. For instance take a look here:...

I did not see any switch to include the event location in the calendar tooltip. Can anyone point me to the right block of code to make the hack?

See one of my earlier posts.

I have Rockettheme and did a reinstall of the **LATEST** component, Modules and plugs ins and my calendar works fine now.
But you have to install all of the updates and don't forget to un-disable any plugins!

Hope this helps

1. Try using a default Joomla! template and check if the calendar module is functioning correctly. If this is the case, contact your template developer as the issue is being caused by the template, not by our component.

If the issue persists, please submit a ticket to our customer support department regarding this matter:

www.rsjoomla.com/support.html

2. Make sure that the group the user account you are testing this with belongs to has enough permissions set up in the 'Groups' tab,...

We're using RS Events Pro to build a user-generated calendar. We only use the Public group, so anyone can submit events (although they are moderated prior to publishing).

If I browse the live events, they look like this:

www.acme.com/event/44-event-title

so, as long as I know the ID, I can then change that event's content, by figuring out the URL:

www.acme.com/event/44-new-event

even if that event was not submitted by me - because we are using the Public group.

That is a security...

Hi. I am just at the start of a redesign and am using the RocketTheme Lumiere Template. (Gantry). I have loads of events at the ready to import into this site and everything seemed fine until I used the Event Calendar in the theme. It will not click forward to the next month or click back to the previous one. I know that RocketTheme had a a problem with EventsPro and their ROKMiniEvents Module which used to be able to import from RSEvents but not the Pro. I don't really care about the ROK...

The calendar pop-up filed is really handy.

Is there a way to force it to default the the NEXT day (ie. Current day+1 "tomorrow", in effect).

My client wants users to specify a pickup/dropoff date, but it can't be the same day as the request was made.

TIA.

Adam.

Hello. I just purchased RSForm! Pro and am trying to make a form look like this, where there are checkboxes sorted into columns but I can't figure out how to do this. Also, when I add a calendar component with a popup calendar to a two-column form, the little icon with the "..." seems to cause the rest of the rows in that column to be vertically offset downwards a little bit, so that they are not inline with the rows of the first column.

I have weekly events put into my calendar that runs for several months. Is it possible to make the slider only show the one instance of that repeated event? At least only for the week is supposed to show and not show ALL of them?

Hello,

I don't know what I did wrong. I just installed RSEvents!Pro 1.0.0 Rev 4 and added a few events. When I click the events from the calendar or from the event list nothing happens for ages but if I wait long enough I end up on a blank page.

Event links from mod upcoming events do work though...

I also made a test menu item with single event and that works as well. However, when I click a link in "Event repeats" at the bottom of that view (single event) I end up in the Event list but with...

I am glad you like the component, but every event has a start and end date. Just think of what would happen if an event wouldn't have an end date... How exactly would you display it in interval listings, or calendar for that matter ? Would you still be able to subscribe to the event while this is running ? There are lot of things to consider when having such requests...

It is actually not viable to have an event that goes one "forever" - the truth is that the event (just like all things) will...
