hey guys,

im looking at buying the RSMembership component for my site but just wanted to ask before i went ahead and did.

in joomla 1.6 you can assign users to a group and then have viewing access levels for the various groups (say Gold, Silver, Bronze) then when you make pages/menu items you can restrict them so that gold can see gold but silver/bronze cant etc.

does this component do the same thing?

for example if i make three memberships and a user signs up and pays for gold membership,...

Hello Everyone,

I purchased RSMembership about 4 days ago.

With multiple attempts to restrict access, through memberships and shared content settings I have been unsuccessful. Their is no response in my website that this extension is even present. It's not affecting content, sections, menu items, or modules.

Even registered an account through RSMembership page to see if that might be the issue. Nothing still.

I have a feeling I might be missing a step or registration settings, because I can not get anything to work.

Would love some help at this point.

I have used RS Form on a site and have it embedded in a document using the content plugin.

The page with the form will not validate to w3c because an extra </script> tag is added after the article (the code at the end of the article shown here):
</fieldset>
<input type="hidden" name="form[formId]" value="3"/></form><br />
<hr class="dotted" /> //this is the last line of the article!

</script>//this is the randomly inserted tag.
	</div>

</div> </div>...

Hello,

Note that this is actually a configuration option, available in the RSEvents! calendar menu item configuration.

Hello,

My site has been hacked, somebody added an iframe with a link. I removed that code from the files that were affected.
All seem to work well in the backend. However with a form linked to a menu item it gives me an error 404 Component not found.

Im really stuck with this and im not sure how to solve this.

I really hope somebody can help me with this...

Thanks,

Louwrens

Hi,

The subscribe lightbox of the events is not working in IE. I've tested the subscription lightbox in the latest browsers ( FF, Chrome, Safari ). Only IE 8 seems to be bugging me.

Is there a way to turn off the lightbox and just load the form-page.

I've tried using RSform pro to load the subscription form linked from a menu item, but when submitted the data works in all the components ( Mail & Form ) but the subscription isn't saved in RSevents. And I really need the ticket counter.

I...

Hello,

You can simply assign some modules to the RSTickets!Pro menu item that you are using to access tickets.

Hello,

If you download and install RSSearch! again, this issue will not occur. We have added a small fix, as it currently grabs the current ItemId and places it on the search result page.

I think I am missing something. How can I remove the edit event menu item from view to the public in the guest menu? Should this link be viewable only to the event's creator?

Thanks!

Hi according to the manual the host menu should display 10 different items to select when you are able to add and edit events.

when I enable the option only the following is listed:
Edit event
Cancel event
subscribe
Invite people
add to outlook calendar
print event

How do I get the other activated?

Hi,

I'm getting the following notice (above all content) when I attempt to display a Menu > Articles >> Category Blog item.

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$text in /home/mystuff/public_html/crd/plugins/content/rsform/rsform.php on line 57

I don't get this notice when displaying a single article or other menu items.

I should also note, when I turn off the Content - RSForm! Pro plugin, the notice does not display. But of course, I require this plugin.

Joomla 1.6
RSFormPro 1.3.0

Thanks

Hello,

1. You could try using the mod_rsform_list or the "View submissions" menu item in order to display the submissions made for a certain form in your front-end. You can read more about the module and menu item in these articles:

www.rsjoomla.com/customer-support/docume...-view-menu-item.html

www.rsjoomla.com/customer-support/docume...4-modrsformlist.html

2. This is a little more difficult to...

I would like to know if you can set viewing access rights for menus based on different memberships access, so a user with a basic membership who only has access control to basic features and menu items, cannot see the menu name "VIP Events"? Only VIP Members who have access to "VIP Events" can see this menus name.
