Hello,

There are two approaches that will make the "Read more" link properly display:

1. "Truncate Blog Posts" option: in the RSBlog! Configuration section (accessed through the "Option" button, upper-right corner), in the "Basic" tab scroll down to "Blog Options" and fill in the "Truncate Blog Posts" with the number of characters that will be automatically displayed before the "Read More" link.
2. - Leave the "Truncate Blog Posts" field empty;
- RSBlog! Configuration > Frontend > Post Options...

You could try this component:

www.pages-and-items.com/extensions/redirect-on-login

I use it all the time. User, when logging into the front end, is sent to a hidden menu that takes them to RSFiles. In RSFiles I set up profiles that only show the logged in user their own folder.

Managers see all folders.

Good luck!

Chris

Hello Dragos (again :P ),

Thanks again for your wonderful help. This solved the issue. How do I make the menu close after a menu-item is clicked? I'm guessing this has to be done via jquery?

Kind regards,

Nick.

Hello,

I would like the mobile menu on the RSVario template to stay sticky on top. How would I achieve this?
My mobile menu also doesn't have the same style as you see on the live demo (I've already updated to the last version). The menu items appear horizontally instead of vertically. Help is much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Nick.

PS: The website I'm talking about is www.new.handieman.nl

Hi there,

I've created a Pro module list for the front end but it doesn't recognize the field {global:fullname} when I display the module.
I've used this in a ProForm menu item and it works great, just not in a module. If I use {global:username} it works though.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I am displaying submission results on the front end using the directory view menu item. The first column belongs to an image file upload, and by default the directory view just shows the filename. I'm guessing I can modify the code so it displays the image, but I'm not sure how to do this using the PHP scripts for "Scripts called on Listing Layout". Can anyone shed some light on how to accomplish this?

NOTE: I have already updated the code under "Details Layout" so that view does display...

Good morning,

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Goal: I want to be able to attache 3rd party extensions & components to rsdirectory items ( categories & items )

rsdirectory does not use native Joomla articles & categories?

I'm guessing you probably could add menu item → attach component to that menu item. But what if I wanted to do it automatically/programmaticly without menu item?

Let me know if I need to re-phrase my question. Thank you for help

Hello. At www.thebigfix.org. I have the module published to all pages. All good. However, if I change the selection in Module Appearance to 'all pages except those checked', something funny happens. In my case, I check my 'Home' menu item which is part of my 'Global Main Menu' and is a Featured Article blog layout. If I then access an Article from the front page while the 'Home' button is active, no sharing icons appear on the Article. I hope you can understand the situation.

Where I would...

Hello,
We have developed a site in Joomla 3.7.2, and the Radio Buttons are not working when the site is viewed in Google Chrome. We are using the UiKit layout, page caching is turned off and the menu items are set to RSForm forms.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I bought RsDirectory. As far as I can tell it does not work with SEF in the normal manner, unless you use Advanced SEF extension. Some of my RsDirectory pages show as page not found until I turn off Joomla's SEF in Global Configuration. My website uses also uses the JoomSEF extension. I notice that RsDirectory has a place to turn on Advaned SEF but not JoomSEF. I have seen some posts that there may be a workaround if you create a separate menu item to each page, but that could be very...

Hello, I have I think the same problem, but can't understand how you solve it. I set PB menu Item as Full Width but content of this menu not showing in full width page.

You have to turn of the H1 in the menu. That solved the problem I had.

Just put a menu item for the form you want to submit on that same menu and set the menu item's permission to Special so it isn't available to the public.

This is one option. Make a new menu item. For Menu Item Type choose List Categories from RsDiretory. Under Layout, set Subcategories Levels to All.

Would be great if that would be changed.
I would like to use JCE since its easier to edit specific things like links to menu-items.

Hi,
i would like to create a megamenu on my site using RSVario.
I´ve created a main-menu-item and activated the mega-menu choosing the 2 column-layout.
Inside these comulns i`ve placed other menus (maybe thats wrong) to display some sub-menu-items
That othe coumn shall be filled with a image using a custom-module.

On my PC that looks good.

But on my mobile, the sub-menu isn`t displayed.
It looks like the colums are completely ignored.

So i need to create real sub-menu-items instead the menus...
