Just wonder if anyone has the same problem as I do on the Submit button. In my case I use Joomla 1.5 and I have my form build for an intranet application. I launch my form from a menu item at an URL like: mysite/dept1/... but when pressing Submit button, the URL would go to mysite/dept1/dept1/... and of course I get a 404 error message for site not found. Is there some config that I'm missing? I don't know why I would get an extra dept1 to the URL? Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks.

Ever since purchasing and installing the full version, I have this problem. When I build the page for the component, it messes up the links on all menus. Instead of www.mydomain.com/seo-name, it does www.mydomain.com/index.php/seo-name. None of the menus work from the page. Has anyone seen anything like this?

I've verified that I can add other component pages (docman, web links, etc.) without this problem. It's only with RSForms. And, I'm quite sure it wasn't a problem when I had the...

Well I went ahead and did it, because my client was after me to get the license message off. I backed up, uninstalled the component, installed the latest version, and then restored the data. Now the blasted thing won't work with my SEO settings. It worked fine before. It puts an \"index.php/\"; inside the link on every menu item. I've verified that I can add pages with other components and not get this problem.... geez.

I just downloaded and installed the RSform 1.5 trial. Unfortunately it looks like it does not get installed properly. When I complete the installation under the components menu I get the option for RSform!, but when selecting this option you get a blank screen with two menu options:

_FORME_BACKEND_TOOLBAR_SUPPORT _FORME_BACKEND_TOOLBAR_MAIN

This is how it looks exactly. When clicking on either link nothing happens. Please advise.

Thanks

Hello everyone,

Yesterday i downloaded the trial version of RS and i find it pretty good.
Before buying a license I would like your help about a couple of issues.

First I want the form to be available only to registered users. Does anyone know how can I restrict public access? (making the menu link available to registered user is one solution but guest can still access the url if they type it for example)

The second is that I want to have a field in my form that automatically get the logged...

I have an issue relating to Joomla core sef (1.5.1) and RSForm. The SEF plugin works really well across the entire site with mod_rewrite enabled (was quite surprised actually). There is only one small problem, and that's with how rsform is affecting the write rule once you access the form. If I try to come out of the form page via any of the menus,...

I'm having similar issue, clicking submit and just getting a page refresh. Have all the email stuff set, linking from the menu.. still nothing..

When using radiobuttons or selectmenu
the output data gives \"value8\"
I would like to see what the value8 is. Now when receiving the form we need to look up what it is.
Not very friendly for the ones that have to process the data?

Is there any way to work around that?

PUBLISH the form...

Then create a new menu LINK URL to the link that is listed on the form's list.

This option already exists. Please use your download link to re-download the component. On new menu item, choose the component option, then in the next screen you'll be able to set up the form id parameter.

Cheers.

Hi dniezby,

I am more curious what kind of menu you are using? :-) Looks nice!

I'm not sure if this will help but I posted today, to someone else that was having a submit problem. In my case, I was forgetting something simple. I was using the 'PREVIEW' to check my form, but it only does just that, preview. I had filled out everything need in the form structure but it wasn't responding.
After I created a menu link to the component (you'll have to enter the form id from the form list) it worked like a charm. I use J1.5 so the menu link was easy.

Hope this helps someone....
