TOPIC: RSform 1.5 Trial

RSform 1.5 Trial 17 years 2 months ago #2306

I just downloaded and installed the RSform 1.5 trial. Unfortunately it looks like it does not get installed properly. When I complete the installation under the components menu I get the option for RSform!, but when selecting this option you get a blank screen with two menu options:

_FORME_BACKEND_TOOLBAR_SUPPORT _FORME_BACKEND_TOOLBAR_MAIN

This is how it looks exactly. When clicking on either link nothing happens. Please advise.

Thanks

I have the same issue.

Does anybody encounter the same issue with the non-trial version?

I would prefer to try before buying, though

What I did to fix that problem was to allow the <? tag in the php.ini file.
Look for \"short_open_tag = \" in your php.ini and set to On
Alernatively you could go through all the rsform files and make sure you replace all \"<?\" tags \"<?php\" tags

Whow - bravo Espriella !

Your \"short_open_tag = on\" trick in the php.ini works and solved the problem for me.

I'll finally be able to try this component !

I change it in php.ini, but I have the same error.

Any Solution?

If you're using wamp try turning it on using the gui.
It's under php settings->short open tag

I also get the same error.
I cannot install (Joomla1.5 Tryout) - even with the edit to php.ini. I now have difficulty uninstalling it and I presume I'll need to remove the folders manually by FTP, and the tables via phpMyAdmin.

I really want to try out this component, but I am not confident paying 9 euros when the trial version does not install. Anyone else got any ideas?
