Hi,

I am building travel website and i have next problem,

There are many excursions with specific departure dates like March 3, March 14, so what i want to do is limit the calendar to specific dates. I managed to change background color of some calendar elements like only Tuesdays or Fridays but i guess there must be some script that will say - on April you can choose April 4, April 5, April 17, in July, in August and so on...

Then i would create multiple forms for each excursion or tour i...

I'm creating a page similar to the below site where it'll be just a standard Joomla article listing events and will have a "register" text link next to each event. Clicking the register link takes them to the registration form (RSForm!) page that will collect their info and what event they're registering for. This form results is just emailed to the client.

In the form there is a dropdown (or whatever is needed) of all the events. What we'd like is when they click the text link it pre-selects...

I am very interested in buying RSEvents! to include in my website but I have a couple of question before I do that I hope someone can answer for me.

First, my site will have many day with a lot of events occurring on the same day and all of them being events with no particular start or end time. I am wondering if there is a way to compress the displayed view in the monthly calendar so that it doesn't display the full name of every event on every day? And what ways I can customize that....

Hello,

Please try going to Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage forms > select your form > Components, edit your calendar field, go to the "Attributes" tab and set the "Date format" to:

dd/mm/yyyy

What file do I need to edit to change the content of the tooltip? I need it to show start and end time without the data (since it's already obvious which date it's occurring on, by the location on the calendar). Also, what css file will allow me to change the font in the tooltip popup?

SOLVED

The element id is not the same as in the RSForm settings as you would expect. The calendar names the id of the date field to something different, you will need to use Firebug to find out the name of the field and substitute it with the correct one in the javascript code.

Hi,

I am attempting to use a multi page form to preview data before submit, but when the script tries to parse the date it breaks the script.

How can we parse a date field when using preview data before submit. If I use the function document.getElementById('dateP').innerHTML = document.getElementById('date').value; for example, it breaks the script and returns a null value.

This is using the built in Calendar option.

Running J2.5.1 and RSFormPro 1.4.0

In my user registration form I use a calendar field.

On the front-end when a user click on a date in the calendar field, let's say March 5th 2011 the displayed date in the field is

jj/03/aaaa

instead of

05/03/2011

The user can submit the form with no error despit this date issue and in the back-end my records show the same bug: jj/03/aaaa

Any idea how to solve this? I've checked the forum but have not found anything.

I am trialling the RS Events tool as a room booking (event) management system on a website that is currrently running from WAMP so I can't show a link to it. I've happily been using it as a training events component for several years and t's simple enough to work well for our needs. I just have the following questions before making a decision and recommending a purchase:

1. The calendar is currently only called from a menu item. Is it possible to call the calendar in some other way (other than...

1. upon re-syncing with Google it must be possible to optionally overwrite the events pre-existing in RSevents so that the external calendar can be the only one to maintain instead of, like now, having to manually maintain RSevents after an initial sync. As it is now this feature is close to useless (only usable for one-off initial import at the start and then forget about it...)

2. Google allows you to have several calendars under one email account. As I see it you only specify the google...

Hi!
Could someone please tell me how to revise the LIST VIEW of Events so that it doesn't display some particulars that are now being displayed by 'default' out-of-the-box configuration?
I don't mind if the huge amount of Event info displays in the Calendar or anywhere else, but I would like the LIST VIEW to only show minimal information ... as it is now, it shows far too much information about the Event. Perhaps, just the Event Title and Event Date should show in the LIST View but additional...
