TOPIC: Staff members are able to edit component

Staff members are able to edit component 9 years 8 months ago #28543

Hi All,

I have setup RS Tickets Pro now and it is working almost as needed.
Most important for now is that staff members can modify the component more as wanted, meaning:

I have some departments, groups and staff setup. All is working good. The only thing now is that staff member X assigned to a support group and department does only see his tickets but also can create new departments, groups, staff members, assign rights etc.

I have checked the credentials for the group which looks fine as group access to component is denied and access to component is granted. Still however they can edit and created as they feel like?

I think I'm overlooking something but don't know what so any hints are welcome.

thx for replying ;-)

Evert

This is not a standard permission given through RSTickets!Pro "Staff groups" functionality.
Head over to RSTickets!Pro > Configurations > Permissions and check if any Joomla! group has access to modify the component (except for the Super User).

A complete list of permission that can be granted to a staff group can be found in this article:
