I have set up user registration using RSForms Pro and the plugin. The activation email is sent to the user correctly and contains the link generated by {user_activation}.

In the form, I have self activation set, and Show message specified below set in User activation.

2 problems. When clicking the activation link the user is taken back to the (hidden) page with the registration form on it. I'd rather they went somewhere else but cannot see where to set that. Secondly, the User Activation message is not shown so this leaves the user wondering if anything happened. If I look in the User Manager, the user is activated and they can log in.

Can I get some guidance on what I've done wrong. Thanks.

Hello,

The RSForm! Pro User Registration Plugin comes with an option regarding this matter. You can display a message or redirect a user after his account activation. In order to do that you should go to Components > RSForm! Pro and choose your form. On the Properties tab go to "Joomla User Registration" and search for "New User Account Activation" option. Set it to "Self" and additional option "User Activation" should appear at the bottom. Here you can control what happends when the user activates his account. You can choose to display a custom message by selecting "Show message specified below" or you can redirect to a custom page by selecting "Redirect to URL specified below".

You will find more information about this plugin here:
