Is there a way to directly link to a file from a menu item? I see options for File list and Briefcase, but what about linking to one particular file?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, i'm not sure that i have understand your request but you can try to set it in directory menu item. Go to "Show submissions for the User ID" and add "login" to show only the logged in user's submissions.

Please note that RSForm!Pro was not designed as a "menu", but as a form generator. You can achieve this scenario by giving the dropdown/radio/checkbox items values and use the Return URL field of the form properties. A similar example can be found here :

How would I change the {form:title} in $formLayout?

I want to reuse the form for many different menu items.

I have captured the menu item name: $pagetitle and I'd like to replace the formtitle placeholder with $pagetitle.

This doesn't work:
$replace = "{global:formtitle}";
$with = $pagetitle;
$formLayout = str_replace($replace, $with, $formLayout);

help?

I created a ticket for this issue. Below is response from Support.

Hello,

This is not an issue with the functionality of the component. When you first perform a Crawl of your site, the links from your page are indexed and you can set your desired metadata from the "pages" tab. This information is stored in the RSSeo! specific database table and is used to overwrite the default metadata set for your pages from the Global Configuration Settings and/or article/menu item configuration.

You can create a delete button in the Manage Directories menu item by following the guide from this article:
http://www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/view-article/1209-how-to-create-a-delete-submission-button-in-manage-directories.html

The submission id is not available for display through the standard Directory Fields, however please provide a more accurate description of your scenario so I can try to further guide you in your project.

What is the best and quickest way to close a form and show a closed form message.

"We're sorry, this form is now closed, please call ### with questions"

I've run into this a few times and have to point the form menu item at a new content article. Is there a way to do this in RS Form Pro without having to make new content and mess with the menu items.

Set a closed date and have a message appear instead of the form.

There does not seem to be a way for users to view the tickets they have subscribed to. They can see the events but not the tickets. It would be nice if the tickets were displayed in the table viewed on the "Subscriptions" menu item. Can anyone tell me know how I can modify this table or give some insight on some other way that users can view their tickets.

Thanks!

Good Day

I've set up RS Files to show the Search and Bookmark options, but my page is only showing an empty nav bar at the top: www.naccw.org.za/publications

For some reason linking to RS Files also moves my template navigation to the left of the page. I have assigned the correct template to this menu item. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix this?

Thank you

You can use the CSS and Javascript section of RSForm!Pro to declare background colors to the dropdown list items. For example:
<style>
#dropdown_id option:nth-child(1) {
   background-color: yellow;
}
#dropdown_id option:nth-child(2){
   background-color:black;
}
#dropdown_id option:nth-child(3){
   background-color:red;
}
</style>

This will only be visible in the frontend when submitting the form.
