Hey all.

I tried out the RSform! on my site. Cus i liked it i bought the RSform!Pro version and installed it.
When i try to edit a form now or create a new one the styling gets messed up, nothing works, and i only see the fields. No Joomla menu anymore... See image for details.

Did i mess up the database ? Is it because i didnt uninstall rsform before installing rsform!pro ?

I tried everything... reinstalling, deleting directories and the stuff in the database.... but with every install its...

Hi There. I do link on \"preview\" and i am every time getting the same \"example form\" than coming in. Maybe by the \"seo setting\" on Joomla control panel. I am using the 3 on \"yes\".

Other thing, i can see the form on menu and also on module, i do not need so far article plugging. But, please i do need preview because i would like to take url address to link.

To me it's some kind of hurry because i am using form inscription on a soccer team.

Thank.

Same problem here:
but here is what I did:

I used the example form and copied it and started making changes to fit my needs. Then I deleted the orignal example form and NOW when I want to preview I get \"no formId\" in the preview window, However the form does show up in the menu correctly AND it works. It just makes it a PIA to do a quick view of a new form, while making changes.
Note all subseqent forms made do the same thing.

Found the solution myself. Uninstall and re-install...it works now.

P.S.: The link on your webpage RSform!Pro (menu link) and then TryitFree button do not work...

Hi there-
I've been getting the same problem with No Formid.

It worked fine on my test site and then when I added this program to the live site, keep getting No Formid.
I've tried adding the form to the menu via the method you mention via through Manage Forms, but still get the problem!!
Can anyone advise what the problem might be and how to resolve it?

Cheers
CJ

In Joomla 1.5 go to:

Components>RsForms en dan 'Manage Forms'

you see an image 'add to menu' use this one to add to correct menu
then you should be ok then.

Thank you for your reply

Yes it is the PRO version.

However in your suggestion you mention the Default Value being set to [C]

But there is no Default Value box in the Drop Down Menu Parameters?

Is it versions PRO ?

If yes i mean the solution is :
into the select list value insert a [C] at the default value.

And insert your \"Choose a Category\" into description or caption.

I have created a drop down category menu in RSForm Pro. I have set Required to 'YES'

The items in the menu are site categories... eg

Choose a Category
Adult Shopping
Antiques and Collectables
Arts and Crafts

Problem is the first item is 'Choose a Category' and even if someone does not actually choose a category and leaves it on 'Choose a Category' the form still considers it valid.

How do I ensure that someone must choose an actual category? (in other words make 'Choose a Category' invalid?

Thanks

open up the customers field. Where it says \"field type\" choose select.

That will give you a drop down menu.

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how to create a drop-down menu that shows contentitems from a specific category in Joomla? I want to create a dropdown list that shows all the items from the selected category and that links to that contentitem.

An example

I create the category \"Customers\" and the contentitems \"RMG\" , \"BHD\" and \"EBC\". I want to show these as values in a drop-down menu on a page called Customers. When a webvisitor selects a value from...

The Situation:

I'm attempting to allow guest to my site to select an area of interest - for example - Option1, Option2, Option3 from a dropdown menu. Their selection will dictate who will be emailed the complete information from the for.

Example. Visitor picks from the drop down Option 2. And submits the form. The form is then emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

What I'm attempting to do is hide the email from the guest using the form and let them pick a Option (news, sports, entertainment)...
