TOPIC: How to create a drop-down menu

How to create a drop-down menu 16 years 10 months ago #3388

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me how to create a drop-down menu that shows contentitems from a specific category in Joomla? I want to create a dropdown list that shows all the items from the selected category and that links to that contentitem.

An example

I create the category \"Customers\" and the contentitems \"RMG\" , \"BHD\" and \"EBC\". I want to show these as values in a drop-down menu on a page called Customers. When a webvisitor selects a value from the dropdown he/she transfers to a page that describes that customer.

The thing is I´m building a webpage and on some pages I want to list a large number of contentitems and a dropdown menu would be perfect. And It would be even greater if I could specify yhe list to show all the contentitems in a selected category.

Thanks!

open up the customers field. Where it says \"field type\" choose select.

That will give you a drop down menu.

Yea I know how to make a drop-down (using RSform!Pro) but what I don´t know is how to make the drop-down show links to contentitems in a specifik category.
