custom user groups and access levels
hey guys,

im looking at buying the RSMembership component for my site but just wanted to ask before i went ahead and did.

in joomla 1.6 you can assign users to a group and then have viewing access levels for the various groups (say Gold, Silver, Bronze) then when you make pages/menu items you can restrict them so that gold can see gold but silver/bronze cant etc.

does this component do the same thing?

for example if i make three memberships and a user signs up and pays for gold membership,...

Shared Content Not Working
Hello Everyone,

I purchased RSMembership about 4 days ago.

With multiple attempts to restrict access, through memberships and shared content settings I have been unsuccessful. Their is no response in my website that this extension is even present. It's not affecting content, sections, menu items, or modules.

Even registered an account through RSMembership page to see if that might be the issue. Nothing still.

I have a feeling I might be missing a step or registration settings, because I can not get anything to work.

Would love some help at this point.

Dynamically redirect after submission
Hi

I'm looking for some help and a script to achieve the following:

1. The customer is on a Webpage where he can choose a car model from a Flash menu (Article ID 48).

2. After choosing a car model, a new page appears with detailled description of the model and with the contact form (Article ID 62).

3. After he fills out the form and submits it, i want to redirect the customer back to the Page with the car model menu (Article ID 48).

Forms Are not displayed!
Hi All,

Am new to RSForms, when I add a new form and add it to menu only the form name is rendered. even the sample it is visible but if I edit anything in it it does not display anymore.

attach completed form as pdf to email
Hi, I have read the tutorial about sending the form submission as a text document, does anybody know how to send the form data in the pdf format as an attachment? I have set up the view submissions menu in the front end and can access the pdf through the front end.

I need an on submit script to save the form as a file and then attach it to the email.

There is a function on TCPDF to save the file to the server so it can be done but I dont know where to put the command so it pulls the template and form info and puts them together.

Anyone achieved this?

Getting Failed deleting.... and JFolder...error
We are using RS Form Pro 1.3.0 rev 36

All the forms work fine when I link to them from a menu. But when I try to embed them in an article using

Detail list of location
Hi. When I add new location in RSEvent, i write detail information about that location with picture. When make in menu "List of location" and click on it location are displayed with no pictures and text is totally unformated, without breaks etc, with no "read more" link.
Why is text unformated??

Hello,

If I understand correctly you want to use a pipe when generating the second dropdown. In order to achieve this you will need to make some adjustment to the script by replacing:

I dont have a problem with sending emails from a dropdown box based like

email@domain.com|Choice1 where email address gets the form submission and the Choice1 appears in the dropdown box.

I do have a problem as I have the first drop down box contain multiple sites. The second dropdown box will show the names from the particular site based off the first drop down box limitting the names that appear.

I have used RS Form on a site and have it embedded in a document using the content plugin.

The page with the form will not validate to w3c because an extra </script> tag is added after the article (the code at the end of the article shown here):

Form Management Layout Issue
I am having an issue managing my forms. When I click manage forms and than select/click the form I want to manage, The layout is all out off proportion. TAB's that are suppose to be at the top, Components, Form Layout, Form Theme, etc. is being laid out Vertically, making me have to scroll, instead on TAB's being position on the top where they are suppose to be. I also can not save my form do to this issue....
Also the layout renders the rest of Joomla's menus unusable.
This is a fresh Joomla install and RSform Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

But with cloaking disabled on the whole site anytime you list your email it could be picked up by spambots? Is this the only solution?

Error 404 - Component not found
Hello,

My site has been hacked, somebody added an iframe with a link. I removed that code from the files that were affected.
All seem to work well in the backend. However with a form linked to a menu item it gives me an error 404 Component not found.

Im really stuck with this and im not sure how to solve this.

I really hope somebody can help me with this...
