I tried to put a ticket in on this issue but the ticket system appears to works only for "live" systems (yawn!). I'm developing on MAMP (offline). So, I'm trying this route.
Anyway. I've just upgraded to J4.2 today. It might be coincidence but there appears to be a delay between form rendering and conditional logic processing. The delay was probably always there of course, but now I see everything (every block on the form) for about a second or more before the conditional logic kicks. I am using...

I completly understand that you wanted this to be very flexable and able to do everything. WHY are you missing MASKING, HIDDING FLAG, BASIC styling fields?

In all form software except yours. Masking is a feature you need to go find a JAVA library and add it in. Yeah cool great. I spent many hours looking for a good libary only to find out i have no idea what the attributes need to make the silly thing work. I opened a ticket he just pasted several links that are very vague on what to do....

I worked it out myself. There's an option to hide the homepage content for some reason which I hadn't noticed and it was set to yes.

I am using RSPageBuilder and the RSTrone template. My page at https://basketballcourts.net/cleaning has a Spacer element at the top, with an image background of a basketball sitting on a court. It looks great on the desktop, but looks awful on a phone. I'd like to just hide it on a phone. I went into the Spacer element and set "Hidden on Phone" to Yes. But it still shows it on my phone. I don't see a setting in the Row settings to hide the whole row on a phone.

How can I hide it on a phone, or...

Could someone please tell me how I can hide the Renew button in Membership Details (Show Subscribers Memberships Menu) if the membership is active? So that it only shows if the membership has expired?

Hello,

You can achieve this using Conditional fields feature, which will hide or show fields based on user's selection. These are the steps you need to take in order to achieve this:

- create a dropdown containing the maximum number of blocks that the user can complete
- create your field blocks
- use the Conditional fields feature in order to display the field blocks based on the user selection

I have a question concerning conditions, too.

I set up a form with a Birthday Yield. To show/hide some other fields, I need to know, if it is an adult or a minor. I use a JavaScript function to calculate that and an "onblur" event as attribute of the Birthday Field. For testing purposes I have created two more fields: "age_years" (contains the calculated age) and "is_minor" (contains true or false). Currently this fields are visible. It looks like, that I cannot use that fields in a condition....

You have conflicting conditions. Each field that you set to show/hide needs to have its own single separate condition and will be displayed or not if the given set choices are made.

Same for your other fields, they have to be kept separately. Basically specify all possible conditions a field should show/hide under a single conditional statement (you can of course set and include multiple fields at once if needed in the same condition, though don't repeat these in other conditions)....

These fields will have to be already added part of your form (otherwise submitted data won't be saved in your database without a custom approach), then use the Conditional Fields feature to hide/show these accordingly based on a selection (like a dropdown for selecting for how many people you want to add such details).

You'll need to make sure that you're selecting 'block (label + field)' while setting up your Show or Hide condition. More on this topic here.

The selection is currently a drop down called membership:
50| Adult membership $50
80| Family membership $80
30| Student membership $30
25| Half Year Adult membership $25
40| Half Year Family membership $40
15| Half Year Student membership

Ultimately I would like:

HIDE Half Membership options (there are Adult, Family and Student options for half) before 1 July
SHOW Full Membership options (incl. Adult, Family and Student options) before 1 July

and then SHOW Half...

Do users have the option to select either a full membership or half membership before the date of 1st of July? Or do you only offer one payment option in your form and you want this to be conditioned by the current date.

I need to hide/show a field based on a date range. Preferably for every year to come as well, but not essential.

eg.
Hide full membership payment field if later than 1 July
Show half membership payment field if later than 1 July

Can anyone help me achieve this please?
