RSForm! PRO has a section named Conditional Fields which allow you to show or hide a field based on the user's selections. Head to Components >> RSForm! PRO >> Manage Forms and edit your form. Add a checkbox named for example "Activate link" and with the same caption. On its Items field add only one option, for example "Yes". Add a freetext component named "Link" and on its text field add your desired link to a file or webpage: <a href="http://your_desired_URL" title="title">Link to file or...

Been asking for the same feature for ages.

A simple "Do not show ticket details if only 1 ticket" option would suffice.
My workaround is to hide the ticket selection box using CSS. Effective but clumsy and unnecessary.

Due to the fact that RSContact! does not provide any means to use PHP snippets, you could try doing it through Javascript/jQuery.

However please note that this is not a solution, but an example. For this to work, you would have to insert the title of the Article (what you wish to submit through the contact form) somewhere in the HTML body.

Use a function to retrieve that particular title (through an id, class, whatever you seem fit) and populate a custom field with the result. You can even...

This works only if a field has no value, but doesn't work if a field a field is hidden conditionally AND has a value. Take this scenario:
  • There's a field with two answer options: yes / no
  • If choice = yes show field 2
  • if choice = no show field 3

Suppose a user first selects yes and answers question 2, but then changes his mind and answers no and then question 3.
In this scenario field 2 is hidden, but still has it's value and is being submitted as such. So your e-mail would look like:
  • Question...

Same problem.

so i've gone into components>com_rsblog>templates

and i can't find a folder with the theme called 3, which is what i'm using. I see that there are folders called 1_column_dark, 1_column_gree etc but nothing called 3. I also see a custom theme i created in the previous version of rsblog but that does not show in my drop down in the config as a choice.

what am i missing?

Good evening. I just downloaded this extension hoping it had that capability. Is it possible this can be added soon?

Unfortunately this isn't something that can be added over the night. My recommendation would be to add a maximum number of fields and simply show / hide them depending on other fields (or by clicking a button). Basic scripting knowledge is required for this.

I use hidden Captchas. They don't show up for the user of the form and that's OK. But Captchas are a required field by default since some versions and you cannot change that. Now I just hide the asteriks with CSS, which I use anyway if I want to diminish the vertical space a hidden field takes up.

I'll submit a ticket to ask to change this.

RSForm!Pro's current version does not incorporate this functionality to dynamically add fields. A similar scenario can be achieved using the conditional fields feature, which allows you to show/hide certain fields depending on user's choice

Unless I misunderstand you, this is working great for me even without any programming.

I have created a radio group "Options" with two options: 1|Do not hide fields and 2|Hide fields.
Then two textboxes - text_1 and text_2.

Created one condition for text_1 and one for text_2. You create these on the properties page under Extras.

1. Show - block and label - text_1 if
all of the following match +
Options - is - Do not hide fields.

Save and close.

2. Same rule for text_2

Save and close.

Test.

Dear clucking,

Thanks for your reply, but it didn't work. I already have tried the guide in the link below www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...-or-hide-fields.html and works for only one field. The other problem is that I want not to show the field when the page is loading but it is secondary problem.

My first priority is to make it work for four fields and with conditions it doesn't.
