TOPIC: Global Config for Social Sharing

Global Config for Social Sharing 6 months 3 weeks ago #43014

Since the last update all the social sharing icons appear on all our events. I can remove them for a specific event but where is the setting to turn them off globally?

Hello,

For the existing events, you will need to remove these manually from the Frontend tab, or by using the Batch functionality, you can read more about this topic here.

Note that when the Batch modal is opened, you will find 3 columns on the 'Options' tab:

- Sharing options - which you can deselect as previously mentioned
- Event details - which are by default unchecked, you will need to check what you want to be applied on your batched events
- Event listings - which as well are by default unchecked, you will need to check what you want to be applied on your batched events

I would recommend firstly test how this batch feature works on a demo website, before applying the changes on your live site.

For new events, you can disable these sharing options directly from your user's Group configuration.
