The whole insistence on tickets is getting difficult to understand.
Now there is an additional component to add to RSForms called RSEPayments...

My client doesn't charge for events, nor do they need to manage numbers of attendees. They just want their users to register interest, not be bombarded with £0 charges and references to tickets etc.
Is there no way you can add a way to disable these features? It's user experience that counts for most converstions and the UIX of RSEvents is quite poor!

I agree. We don't have a need for tickets either. Like you, we only want to register people for our events.

In RSEvents! PRO the tickets option is not required. So, if you have an event where tickets are not necesary you can add this event with the "Enable registration" option only selected and no tickets added.
Head to Components >> RSForm! PRO >> Manage Forms and edit your Registration form or add a new one. Leave only the necesary for example Name and Email and remove the Payment and Tickets components.

In order to add this form as a Registration Form for your event go to Components >> RSEvents! PRO >> Events and edit the event. On its "Event Registration" tab search for "Registration form" and select your desired form from list.

Thanks Bogdan,
I had previously tried this but it wouldn't let me choose the form from events until I had enabled everything. I must have created a Ticket before linking to the form.

This will be a big plus if it works...
