Can we get a little more info on what exactly the facebook sync does?
Does it copy events setup in RSEvents Pro to the Facebook events page?
Does it import and list Facebook events in RSEvents Pro?
When a user Joins an event does it get shared on Facebook?

Hello john.b,

The Facebook Synchronize feature imports the events from your Facebook Events Application in RSEvents!Pro.

Unfortunately at this moment there is no export to Facebook feature or New subscriber post functionality.

For more details about the Synchronizations feature, please refer to the following article:

I recently purchased RSEvents Pro specifically for this Facebook event synch feature.
I installed and configured the component and followed the instructions on the settings/synchronisation tab.
I was directed to the Facebook connect page which would allow rsevents pro access to all of my data, however after being redirected back to my website I clicked synchronise but no events were imported.

It appears that something is either broken or not configured correctly.
The only thing that I can think of it that my events are all under a Facebook page, not on my profile.

Does anyone have any advice regarding this issue?

The RSEvents!Pro Facebook Synchronization is designed to import events from your profile, not your configured Facebook pages.

I find this disappointing as I purchased the RSEvents Pro component specifically for this purpose.
It doesn't import events from my profile either..
I suggest adding this function as it would save me a lot of work.
Has anyone been able to hack the code to make it work as advertised?

Can you elaborate on this ? How exactly would you see this working, considering the differences between RSEvents!Pro and Facebook events ...?
