Hi,

I have a client that we are using RSBlog for and they do not need or want the Metadata and Social blocks. Is there an easy way to remove these from the front end blog entry form?

Thank you,
Bryan

This can be achieved, but not through the component's default features. You will need to adjust the layout of the 'Create Post' menu item, this can be done using template overrides. The process of implementing such overrides for RSBlog! is explained here:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/v...s-look-and-feel.html

If you are using Joomla! 2.x, you need to edit the following file:

\components\com_rsblog\views\form\tmpl\edit_j2.php

If you are using Joomla! 3.x, the layout can be found here:

\components\com_rsblog\views\form\tmpl\edit_j3.php
