How add custom fields in list of tickets?

I would like ticket submitted to have the "application Name" filled up as a dropdown

You can add custom fields from the Departments area of RSTickets!Pro. For more details, please refer to the following article:

This link does not solve the issue/ticket.

On the ticket list we need to be able to see the results of custom fields or at least search by the custom fields ?

Neither seems to be possible, therefore the custom fields become useless to be honest
