TOPIC: log files

log files 8 years 4 months ago #33051

Hello,

My membershipPro does not generate any log files. No system logs and no membership access logs. How does this happen?

Sincerely,

Martijn

Hello,

As mentioned in the online documentation:

www.rsjoomla.com/support/documentation/r...ted/system-logs.html

...the `System logs` section provides information regarding the membership expirations and user type changes. In order to test this functionality please try creating a new test membership that will also change the user groups of the subscribing user, then perform a test subscription and check if an entry is recorded in the logs. Another thing you could test is the subscription expiry notification emails, when this type of email is triggered an entry should be recorded in the logs.

For the `Access logs`, this section will only record instances when the user accesses a membership specific content (Shared content). For example if you have a particular folder added to one of your memberships, the `Access logs` section will record an entry when the user downloads a file from the membership folder.
