Hi

Is there any way to specifiy whether (or not) www will appear in the links generated for the sitemap.

I have the following error report from Google. Would'nt it be prudent to have an option in RS SEO

Paths don't match
We've detected that you submitted your Sitemap using a URL path that doesn't include the www prefix (for instance, example.com/sitemap.xml). However, the URLs listed inside your Sitemap do use the www prefix (for instance, www.example.com/myfile.htm).

Regards

Gary

Hi,

Before generating the sitemap with RSSeo! you have to enable canonicalization in the backend (set up a redirect from the non-www version to the www-version or viceversa).

You can find detailed instructions in this video tutorial:
http://www.rsjoomla.com/tv/106-enable-canonicalization-for-your-joomla-website-with-rsseo.html or in the article "How to generate a sitemap for Joomla! with RSSeo!" - http://blog.rsjoomla.com/bid/23583/How-to-generate-a-sitemap-for-Joomla-with-RSSeo

Regards!
