TOPIC: Submissions Directory Listing View

Submissions Directory Listing View 9 years 11 months ago #31193

Hello!

Love, love, love the Submissions Directory feature!! Having one small problem, though.

In the front-end listing view, the view and edit icons are so tiny that they appear as dots (about 3 px wide).

Where and how do I resolve this for only this table entry, please?

Could you please provide us a link to the page in question so that we can see what style definitions are applied to the icons?

Hello, did you ever get your answer? Maybe you did, but maybe someone else still has this question.

I had the same issue, on Joomla 3.4.5, using RSForm!Pro version 1.50.17. The view and edit icons were very tiny, but only in Safari and Chrome browsers. They looked fine in Firefox. Adrian from RSJoomla support answered my question this way:

This is due to how different browsers interpret HTML code. The fact that it shrinks is caused by the actual width space which isn't enough in order to display that many columns information.

You can easily test this by no longer loading 1 or 2 columns within the main Submission Directory listing and you can have this information loaded on the details page (where data is displayed, for each field, on individual rows).

To do so, simply navigate to backend > Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage Directories > your form directory > Directory Fields > here, uncheck fields from "Show in Listing" section.

* * *

In other words, narrow down the list of fields you want to view in the front end view module, for your form submittals, until the view and edit icons are no longer "crushed" on the right.

Cheers,
Carol
