My question is, have created a contact in a joomla version 3
However I get when I press send the following message (Could not instantiate mail function.) does anyone know how I can fix this?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

This error can be generated by a bunch of reasons - from improper RSForm!Pro emailing configuration to server side mailer failure. RSForm! PRO is using the default Joomla! email configuration in order to send out emails. So, if your mail function is disabled, when you try sending an email an error will occur. You can try changing the Mailer that you are using from System >> Global Configuration >> Server >> Mail Settings. For example if you choose for SMTP, you have to complete all additional fields that appears and after that you can try sending the email again.
