Hi guys,

We've been using RSForms for many years, we recently just experienced something strange (using latest version of RSForms Pro with the latest Joomla 2.5.22 version, on a Linux Ubuntu with Apache LAMP stack, etc. etc).

We have a very simply Calculation that works on one of our client's forms.

There are several radio-button options. If a person clicks a different one it will increase/decrease the Total price.

It is basically:

Total = {Something1:value} + {Something2:value} + {Something3:value} + {Something4:value}

The default is to always at least have the first radio-button option in {Something1:value} checked, so the Total is always that dollar amount (which is $130).

It is therefore impossible for someone to manually edit the Total to be anything less than $130.

However, our client recently ran a campaign and had approximately 300~ form submissions. Of these, about 6 actually resulted in a $0 zero dollar amount. Which is impossible based on the calculation and the fact that it always defaults to $130.

Why is this happening? We've googled around but found no clues on this one. We've tested from old systems/old browsers in an attempt to replicate this scenario, but it never occurs in our tests. We always at least see a minimum of $130 generated by the submission. We can't force it to do $0.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

@rabah Never figured this one out.

@cosmin.cristea That particular form was time-limited, so our client doesn't want it activated. I'll create a demo form with a similar layout and will give you the details to check. Though it only happens randomly and might occur after 50 tests, or 10? ... it's hard to pin-point when it will happen. Though, in a campaign that the client ran where they had around 300 submissions (roughly), there was about 6 instances where this happened - so that's an average of about every 50 submissions

Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue?
