Hi,

I'd like to make a suggestion.

Every time i use a free text i face the same "layout issue".
Free text does not have an option to add a label. Which mean that every time you add free text it is vertically aligned with the other fields. This create a gap on the left of the free text which is really not "layout" correct or pretty at all.

And i know i can use the plugin to insert the form in an article where i can write anything above the form. But there is always come kind of issue when having SEF enabled.

It would be good to either have the option to add a label (could be useful for a TOR or policy text). Or have the layout of free text not using an empty label space so it spans across the entire width.

Or both ;)

cheers

Hello Bobthebob,

You can fix this issue by simply editing the form's HTML Layout to meet your requirements.

To edit the form Layout, please head over to Components > RSForm!Pro > Manage Forms > edit the form > Properties > Form Layout, and disable the "Auto-Generate Layout" option.

After disabling this option, you can perform any required modification to the form's Layout, in the HTML Layout field.

Hi Cristian,

thanks for the reply.
I know that i can manually change the layout but as you said yourself, you need to disable the "Auto-Generate Layout" option.
Which mean that if you add a new field afterwards, you need to re-enable the "Auto-Generate Layout" option, save, and redo the change again.

For developer, it's not an issue, but for clients it is a major one.

What i was trying to suggest is to have this as part of rsform pro itself. So if you select a free text the code is generated without label place holder.
This makes the form look better.

Cheers
