TOPIC: Multiple Fields in one Row

Multiple Fields in one Row 11 years 10 months ago #23858

I am trying to create a form where there is one row with 3 fields in the same row. First name, middle initial, and last name. Does anyone know if there is there a way to make this happen?

There is no default feature for this, you will need to modify the form's layout. To be able to change the form's layout, you will need to first disable it's automatic generation. Head to Components >> RSForm!Pro >> Manage Forms >> edit your form >> Properties >> Form Layout >> set 'Auto Generate Layout' to 'No'. Then you will need to re-arrange the form fields to suit your needs.

Note that disabling the automatic generation of the form's layout will render any future changes (like adding or removing fields) to not be visible in the frontend. In this case, you will need to either copy your modifications in a .txt file, re-enable the automatic generation so that the new settings take effect and re-apply your modifications, or manually add / delete the fields.
