TOPIC: Admin Configuration screen not working

I've just purchased this component in the hope that it would solve all my form creation woes with other form extensions. I ran the installation test which all worked fine. I purchased and downloaded the RSforms Pro component and appropriate plugins, the installation was successful, no errors.

However when I go to the RSforms Pro Component and click in the configurations screen, none of the options or tabs work, it pretty much freezes the admin area. I have tested this on my local server where i am developing the site and on a live server where i have a test Joomla running, same problem on both.

Any solutions?

Please make sure that all css, js and images located in /administrator/components/com_rsform are using the correct permissions - some servers are setting them to something lower than 644, making them inaccessible.
I see that you have downloaded all the plugins - some of the plugins require other extensions in order to work (RSMail!, RSEvents! Pro). You might encounter errors if you do not have the required extensions - if you have installed these plugins, please uninstall them.

Hi, many thanks for your reply.

I have checked every css, js and image file in the /administrator/components/com/rsform folder and they are all set to 644. should they be 755 or more?

I have removed all plugins so only have the component running.

The problem is still occurring. you can see here.

I have edited your reply.

This is why we urge customers to submit a ticket. The ticketing system is private. You can also submit a ticket to have your username changed to something else (your account is very old and has been created based on the email address during a site migration back in 2009)

Back to the main issue:
This was caused by the following plugin "System - Jquery". This is a 3rd party plugin - once I have disabled it, everything worked correctly.
