Another solution would be to use the RSForm!Pro - Google Analytics integration plugin. This will place the tracking code on both your form page and the thank you page, more information on this plugin can be found here:

Will this work with AJAX forms as well?
I googled and found that you can push a virtual pageview to google when the form submits with the following snippet:I placed it on the submit button with 'onclick' attribute, but so far I haven't gotten it to work.

I am interested in this topic because I would like to set it as a goal/conversion in google analytics also.

Did you get it working and how? Looking for a way to create a thank you url page to track this as a conversion might be an option. But know how this is working?!

I am also trying to get the conversion tracking working, I have read the article at :

I have followed the instructions and have the script added after the thank you message and all the settings in the editor to allow javascript code etc. The tracking is not working and the code is showing up in the body copy after the thank you message which is less than ideal.

Any ideas how to get this working correctly?

Have you actually toggled the editor HTML mode before pasting the code ?

That was my mistake! the code view screenshot in your guide looked different to mine as I am using JCE. Anyway all sorted now and thanks for your help
