Hi...

I'm having a problem in the forms of a client websites. On the front-office the recaptcha image doesn't show and a missing icon like broken image appear.

I've updated the rs from pro today, download from my account...and the all component was updated as also the plugin rs form recaptcha...without errors...

What can i do to solve this situation?

I am having exactly the same problem. I have updated tot he latest version of RS Forms Pro but still the captcha image doesn't display which means that the form can never be submitted. I have disabled the captcha so that people can at least submit their forms until I have this resolved.
In the admin side where I create the form the image displays but nothing on the front end.

I am running a Joomla 2.5 website using an Artisteer template.

I can also see the captcha image on the back-office in the form creation area, but not on the front-end. Any solution to this situation? Anyone?

Just a thought ... have you tried altering the colors? I do tend to make the text bigger and change colors to the blue family to make it easier for users to see.

I've had MAC users complain about this but not many PC users.

So far I haven't found an answer for our MAC users so I've been adding a "human" anti-spam by putting in a text box that asks a question and then uses Regex to validate the answer. It seems to be helping with slowing down the bots trying to access our data.

Have you put in a ticket on this? Support may already have an answer.

Hi i've founded a solution for my problem, of not seeing the captcha image in the front-office, only in the back-office...

I've requested keys at recaptcha - www.google.com/recaptcha
Then placed that keys in the configurations of rs form pro / recaptcha tab and also make sure that all recaptcha plugins are available...(also inserted keys in plugin - dont know if it's necessary)

Then on the form (at rs form pro), deleted the captcha field and inserted it again...and voilá...now i have a recaptcha...not the one by default but an image "recaptcha" from the recaptcha site...

Hope it work's well for other forms on the website and have to try submitting the form, but this could be a possible solution for others.

Glad you found a solution. Watch out for the spammers who use "speech to text" (the audio portion of ReCaptcha) to get past the whole scheme. They capture the text, place it in the box and then submit the form.
So you have to verify that your submissions are real. Hopefully they get bored quickly ...

You are referring to Captcha, not Recaptcha (these are two totally different things).
It's hard to debug just from seeing the frontend - I can see the image is empty but I'm not sure why (could be another extension on your website interfering or even the hosting server's setup). If you would be willing to submit a support ticket one of my colleagues will access your administration section and see the cause of this.
