Built-in Menu Items

List all categories

This menu item will display a list of all categories configured in RSBooking!.

• Categories layout options:
  • Order by: Choose how categories are sorted — by their Name or by the Category ordering set in the backend.
  • Order direction: Select whether categories appear in Ascending (A-Z) or Descending (Z-A) order.
  • Columns per row: Set how many category columns are displayed per row (1 to 4 columns).
  • # Properties in category: Choose to Show or Hide the count of properties listed within each category.
  • Empty categories: Decide whether categories with no properties should be shown or hidden in the layout.

• Properties layout options:
  • Order by: Select how properties are sorted — either alphabetically by Name or by their predefined Property ordering.
  • Order direction: Choose whether the properties are displayed in Ascending (A-Z) or Descending (Z-A) order.
  • Show ordering list: Enable or disable displaying a dropdown or list that allows users to reorder properties manually.
  • Show only intro text: Decide whether to show only the introduction snippet of each property instead of full details.
  • Category name: Choose whether to show or hide the name of the category above or with the properties.
  • Category image: Option to display or hide the image associated with the category.
  • Category description: Show or hide the description text of the category alongside properties.

• Property layout options:
  • Reviews ordering direction: Choose whether property reviews are shown in Ascending (oldest first) or Descending (newest first) order. Default is Descending.
  • Reviews limit: Set the maximum number of reviews to display per property. You can specify any numeric value (default is 5).

Show properties from category

This menu item will display a list of properties from the selected category.

• Filter by country — Narrow down results to a specific country.
• Filter by user — Show results related to a specific user.

• Properties layout options:
  • Order by: Select how properties are sorted — either alphabetically by Name or by their predefined Property ordering.
  • Order direction: Choose whether the properties are displayed in Ascending (A-Z) or Descending (Z-A) order.
  • Show ordering list: Enable or disable displaying a dropdown or list that allows users to reorder properties manually.
  • Show only intro text: Decide whether to show only the introduction snippet of each property instead of full details.
  • Category name: Choose whether to show or hide the name of the category above or with the properties.

Single property

This menu item will display a single property.

• Property layout options:
  • Reviews ordering direction: Choose the order in which reviews are displayed — either Ascending (oldest first) or Descending (newest first).
  • Reviews limit: Set the maximum number of reviews to display per property.

User's bookings

This will list all of the current user's bookings.

View all bookings

This will list all bookings from all properties.
