Hi from a Joomla newbie

RSBrixton: I can not hide the (very big) article titles. Even with the parameters of article.
(It seems OK with another template)

Hey "com9",

I'll let the experts handle this but if this helps in the meantime...

1) there is a setting in Joomla to turn off the article titles. I'm not logged in to check for details right now but I think that was in Joomla global admin articles setup (at least if you want it to be a "default"). Otherwise set it within the article under the options tab when your are editing it.

2) BUT - with another RSJoomla template (RSJuno2) I had a horrible time trying to get a large generic title of "ARTICLES" (or similar) to NOT show, despite other settings being correct. Even though this does not sound like what you are looking for, it may help at some point if you encounter it. It occurred when an article was not attached to a menu. Once it was attached to a menu, it was fine and showed consistently as other pages with only the portion I wanted displayed showing.

Hope it helps!
Otherwise I'm sure Andreic can!

Thank you both.
Since filing my post, the problem is solved. But I do not know why! An update of the template? Or Joomla? Or an extension? A cache disorder? Possibly confusion in my brain!
