This is caused by the way the browser handles the drop down list rendering, and not by the component.

Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to add a padding to a drop down's item list, so I'm afraid there isn't much you can do about this.

In case you want to add some CSS for your drop down, you can do so by adding a style="" property in the field's Additional Attributes field (edit the field and head over to the Attributes tab to find it).

I'm not a programmer so I make novice user mistakes -- so this may not be correct for a professional but I put a return(enter) after the last line to give it a blank line. Yes, there is now a blank but the lower case descenders don't get cut off.
And most people won't select the blank.

Just an idea...

Thanks Cristian, we are seeing it in every menu, but in IE and Safari it's worse. I am attaching a screenshot here for better clarification.

Thanks again,
Bill

Hello themiamivalley,

I took a quick look at your site and the dropdown seems to work fine in IE and Safari, can you please provide a screenshot or something to give us an insight as to what causes this issue?

Yes, have tried adding CSS to the item in several ways, including internally within the form's additional attributes.

In Firefox it doesn't look too bad, but IE and Safari, and Safari on a Mac it looks bad.

Thanks,
Bill

I'm not a programmer but have you thought about using CSS margin-bottom code in the additional attributes of the dropdown box?
It might be worth a few minutes of experimenting to see if you can change the spacing.

On a side note, I looked at the dropdown in Firefox and the "g" didn't look clipped on my screen.

Let us know what you come up with. Also, try putting in a ticket if you can't get it to work. They've helped me many times getting the layout of a form the way I want it.

I have a form that has a drop down menu with 4 options. The last option is too close to the container, and the bottom of the letter "g" is cut off.

How can I add some padding to the last item in a drop down menu to fix this?

Thanks,
Bill

Hello,

There is no limitation on the number of Ticket Layout menu items you can have. Most likely you have the "Attempt to calculate Item IDs" option enabled.

Try going to backend > Components > RSTickets!Pro > Configuration > General and set the "Attempt to calculate Item IDs" option to "No". Afterwards clear your browser's cache and refresh the page.

More information on the RSTickets!Pro Configuration tab can be found here:...

When I select a Ticket Layout menu item, all Ticket Layout menu items disappear from the displayed menu. This makes it impossible to show multiple Ticket Layout menu items, or to return to the selected Ticket Layout menu item.

Is this a configuration problem or a bug?

(Note that the product is installed on my local computer under MAMP:Joomla 2.5, not on the Internet.)

P.S. Will the product be available for Joomla 3 anytime soon?

Though there is no export feature available to the user for this, there is a "Subscriptions" menu item that you can use for this:

Hello,

If you are referring to the slideshow modules, then this is possible. You will simply have to add the article's URL when editing your picture(backend > Components > RSMediaGallery! > edit your picture). When the picture is clicked in the slideshow it will redirect to that URL.

There are 3 types of RSMediaGallery! slideshows (responsive slideshow, advanced slideshow and slideshow). If you are using the normal RSMediaGallery! slideshow module, you will have to enable the "Use URL" option...

Your request is not quite clear.

If you only wish to display the submissions of the logged in user, simply type in "login".

If you wish to display all submissions, but just for logged in users, then simply adjust the access level of the mod_rsform_list mode or RSForm!Pro Submissions view (standard Joomla! configuration option).

More details on these are available here:

If you simply wish to only allow registered users to submit the form, a much easier solution would be to use the default Joomla! access levels. You can display the form through a menu item and set the access level for that menu item as 'Registered'. This way, only registered users will be able to access the form in order to submit it.

You can also add the following script in Components >> RSForm!Pro >> Manage Forms >> edit your form >> Properties >> PHP Scripts >> 'Scripts called on form...
