Hello,

I am not quite sure what do you mean by "create a calendar". RSEvents! has be default two types of calendars:

- a view type: site.com/index.php?option=com_rsevents&view=calendar

- a module type that displays a small calendar inside a module position.

Basically the calendar displays a list of the events. On this view you can set some display filters, based on location category and date. These parameters can be configured directly from the menu item parameters.

Hi,

The same. Cache is off. Latest versions of Joomla 1.5.15 and RSEvents. I see all data in calendar view, then when logged in nothing, but days. As registered, when click on particular day still can enter event view. The same with calendar module, no highlights, no flying inscriptions when mouse on it -works fine for none registered.

All the best.

I am not refering to an installation guide, but rather a users step by step guide showing how to set up all areas and create a new calendar without having to read through hundreds of threads here. A link to a guide would be helpful. Please excuse me if there is a manual here and I have just not found it yet.

Thanks

Hello,

Are you referring to the label of the button that triggers the popup calendar?

Hello,

Unfortunately this isn't something that can be fixed or adjusted. The reason for this is because the calendar is dynamically generated (each time you press on the next button) with a javascript. We will try to improve this in future revision of RSEvents.

Well, I've already done that but I just find it kind of odd that its not within the component itself.

Hello,

In order to add an event in RSEvents! you can go to Menus > select a menu of your choice > create a new menu item by going to RSEvents! > Addeditevent . Now when accessing the respective menu item from the front-end your users will be able to add events.

Hello,

Please make sure that you do not have cache enabled on your site. You can disable cache from Plugin Manager > System Cache and from Global Configuration > System. Also please delete the remaining cache from Tools > Clean Cache.

I just bought the component but was surprised to see no link for adding new events from the calendar view. Can this be added as a option in the future?

Thank you

Does anyone have any idea why the category filter is not working on this page:

Hello,

You could create a script that adds the current date+10 days to the calendar field. Basically you will require a small javascript, placed in the Form Layout area. You can read more about integrating custom scripting into RSform!Pro here:

Hello everybody,
how is possible to propose a date in calendar object?

For example add 10 days to today? ( 10 days = shipping days)

Thanks for your help

I am having the same problem. Groups are setup correctly for frontend and backend allowing to post and edit. Also cache is disabled under plugins and under global config.

Only backend users like admin see add event icon. Frontend do not see the icon. Also when a frontend user tries to edit an event and clicks edit event it takes them back to default calendar page. Please advise.

Events are not showing up for registered users (in the calendar view) - It shows for non-registered but the events do not show for registered users.
