How can i do to get store and send via email the day user selected in the calendar? I just receive the other fields..

Note that this is actually a configuration option, available in the RSEvents! calendar menu item configuration.

So I searched and searched and couldn't find a way to just say "No" to showing the week numbers in the frontend calendar view for my J1.6 install.

I finally figured out a way to do it. maybe this will help someone.

File: "/j1.6/components/com_rsevents/helpers/calendar.php"
Line 557, change the '1' to '0'
You can also change those other lines value's to 1 or 0 to further customize.

Just thought I would quickly post this here for others... I'm a fairly seasoned Joomla developer and in a moment of getting caught up in the stench of my own brain-fart, couldn't figure out why synching with Google Calendar wasn't working.



If you're going to synch with Google Calendar you've got to enter your info and then click 'Apply' and THEN click 'Synchronize'.


If you just enter your info and click 'Synchronize' it throws a 'CaptchaRequired' error.

Hope this saves someone else some time.

Hi according to the manual the host menu should display 10 different items to select when you are able to add and edit events.

when I enable the option only the following is listed:
Edit event
Cancel event
subscribe
Invite people
add to outlook calendar
print event

I've tried writing code in the form style and layout boxes and in the actual field's alternate text. Maybe I'm not writing the code correctly?

Also, another problem is I can't seem to get the Date Of Project calendar to move to the right by 15px like...

I've tried to configure a recurring event in every possible scenario and cannot get it to display any information about it recurrence. I don't see the recurring events in the calendar or module ?

Is this a known bug in RsEvent 1.2.0 for Joomla 1.6 ?

Has anyone successfully deployed a multilingual site with RsEvents ?

I have an English base install and added the French language ini file (to both the /administrator/languages and /languages directories). When I call the calendar page (and any other RsEvent page) in French, there is no translation whatsoever ?

Any help here would be appreciated!

Hi! I am looking to use RSEvents for a local community theatre's webpage. I have a few questions before I purchase it, however.

1. Is it possible to remove any reference in the event descriptions to registering for events/subscribing? The theatre does not do this through their site and I do not want to confuse their users.

2. How does one instantiate RSEvents? Is it included in an article which can be linked to as the "calendar" page?

Please forgive me if any of these topics were covered in...

In the calendar + the module calendar it's possible to click on dates where there are no events. Then you come to a page saying: No events found.

Can I disable link on dates without events on them so you only can watch dates with events?
